Yes totally agree. Esma was wrong to accuse Ipek, she says she’s not siding but clearly she’s siding with her son and how things look to others, I wish Ipek kicked her out of the house. They need to divorce right away. Fikret is a loose cannon. Stand your ground Ipek and if in future Ipek dates Okan so what? It’s her life and he’s nice to her. Esma used to defend Ipek most times until she found out about her evil doings that got others in trouble, of course she’s going to defend Fikret the same way Kiymet is defending Ipek, but there are some rights in what she told Ipek. They’re a famous family and ppl seeing Ipek constantly with Okan ppl are going to gossip, just like they did about Esra and Fikret. Both Esma and Kiymet need to leave husband and wife to deal with their own bs. Kiymet as well need to stop putting Esma in the middle every time Ipek comes crying to her.

To quote Ipek, her marriage to Fikret was doomed from the start. Exactly. Faruk was the one she wants. Fikret was her last resort which eventually drove Fikret into the arms of his assistant, Esra. Ipek's quest for independence drove her into the sly fox,Okan. Both Fikret & Ipek are at faults and responsible for their marriage breakdown. The thrashing Esma gave to Ipek is long overdue. I kind of agree with what Esma said to Ipek. Given Ipek knows Okan is the source of Fikret's jealously, she should've respected her husband wishes i/o ignoring it, if she is serious about saving their marriage. Fikret didn't actually stop her from pursuing her career, he just didn't want her working for Okan, knowing Okan's intention to his wife is rather fishy.
