Fantastic. One of the best videos I've seen on using candle stick analysis. What it did was clarify for me WHEN to take signal (ie at a key level of support and resistance). Before this l would just try and trade a bullish engulfing candle any time I saw it without checking the context. No wonder l hour stopped out so much!
Question: assuming you use this approach to take entries off the 4 hour chart, would you ensue that your trades were only in the direction of the dominant daily trend? Thanks.

Sorry for the delay. Been under the weather Anyhow I use the 1 hour. Over the course of week Traders are much easier to pick middle of Top and Bottom Where the profit is.
If you works for you it works. For me the best is the 1 hour. I also like the 15 during London/US markets at times not for the week of heart

Strategy is key to success, just make sure it has been used to win trade over time before trusting it.

should it has to be 2 confirmation candle? Like 1 hammer and 1 bullish engulfer to confirm the strategy before trading?
Would u condiser a candle to be bullish engulfing if it had a wick at the top of it?
Does the hammer and inverted hammer could be either be a different color?
Here is my problem with candle patterns. They are kind of arbitrary, they are wave-form price movements compressed into whatever time frame you set, so the only way they will work is if enough participants use the same time frame and use the same rules for the particular patterns.
