Great set overview! I just got the sample set and am digging into it. Bois Imperial is an immediate love, Quinten Bisch's signature Akigalawood is always so mesmerizing. In fact, I'll buy this and skip Valaya altogether. I really like fig infusion as it's creamy to my nose. And yes, Orange x Santal is super enjoyable and I get exactly what you said about it!
I really appreciate this house and their natural DNA, they are very creative and deserve more recognition, glad you talked about Essential Parfums! I purchased their discovery set and fell in love with Nice Bergamot, Orange x Santal as well as Fig Infusion. The last one is divine, so multi-layered, every fig lover should try this parfum! Bois Imperial turned out quite masculine on me. I am still on my discovery journey with this house, but so far I am quite impressed!
my left ear enjoyed this review of the house! Bois Imperial is an incredible daily wear. it's a much more wearable Ganymede, which I also have. Not sure how Quentin Bisch pulled it off, but it works so well.

Quentin Bisch did not confirm it, but he has created several flankers of Ganymede, including Bois Imperial and Amouage Purpose.
I love fig infusion on my skin she is reminiscent of Le Labo’s Thé Matcha. I love a good fig note which both fragrances contain.

I had a 10 ml travel of the Musc and I really enjoyed it. On my skin it got really warm and I could really smell the beeswax note, so realistic. I am curious about Bois Imperial!

I get a burnt rubber note from Fig Infusion. I wanted to like to but I can’t get over that note!
I could not stand Bois Imperial. I tried it over a year ago but remember not liking it. Way to strong and woody.
I've sampled over 30 fragrances to date and Bois imperial is one of three I've bought a full bottle of.
Same here - it was love at first sniff on skin but it became my favourite fragrance of all time when I smelt it on my coat - such a beautiful scent when you spray on your jackets/coats
I must say that the Rose one on me 10+ hours longevity. Definitely not a moderate. But the vanilla one was gone fast.
I loved Bois Imperial and Mon Vetiver on my BF 😍 to me, they were a bit too masculine to wear

J'adore cette maison. Une qualité extra et des prix défiant toute concurrence ! J'ai en 100 ml Bois Impérial (qui sur moi est tout à fait féminin et qui a une tenue et une projection folle,), Divine Vanille et The Musc. J'ai acheté également une recharge de 150 ml pour chacun de ces parfums pour pouvoir m'en doucher... Et toi, lesquels préfères-tu ?
I have heard many fragrance review creators say that Angel’s Share smells like apple pie - it does not to me but we are all so different when it comes to what our noses pick up 😊
I cannot detect any Apple in that one as well! I wish I could ..
I enjoy this brand. I have Mon Vetiver, The Musc and Nice Bergamot. I also like the vanilla one and would happily wear.
The Musc has ginger and beezwax. I love how it smells as it warms on the skin. It’s an elegant easy to wear everyday scent. I love it.
Mon Vetiver is sparkling and yes, creamy. Juniper, gin and lime. I don’t drink but I love a good boozy note in a perfume. ❤

Imperial Boise is awesome for a man.
I live in high temperature Australia so it’s perfect for those hot and humid days and nights. Last really long time and beast projecting.
I tried the fig, vanilla and orange. All beautiful scents but the projection and longevity on those is woeful.
At $185 a bottle here, I most certainly won’t be buying those ones.
Have you tired Angel Share or Oajan by Kilian? They smell like Apple Pie to me
