9:20 when robs talking about thinking about what you say, there’s a great stoic quote from Cato that says “I begin to speak only when I’m certain what I’ll say isn’t better left unsaid.” I heard this quote taken from a book called _Discipline is Destiny_ in a chapter that goes over how silence is discipline, knowing when to speak and learning that sometimes you don’t always have to say something.
To be fair this is a commentary channel, so they kind of have to speak alot in it.

I've been on a date where we literally just sat down and then he said "Okay, you can just ask me what you want" and then I proceeded to ask about his life, job, family etc and my problem was that he didn't ask me a single thing in return. There was no effort or interest on his side to get to know me, so I do get where this girl is coming from...I didn't immediately think "the date is over" but I also didn't feel like he showed any interest

You always hear people saying things like "Try, if you don't you will regret it, rejection is always better.". I agree that regret is worse than rejection but I feel like people portray rejection as if it's something people get over in a day or two.
