We called them snowflakes growing up. But they are lily of the valley I think
My dad has them all around his garden on his farm
I absolutely love them
Thanks Tessie for the beautiful upload xxx
I just love you! You work hard and are so humbly happy! Just as God would want!
I have the Lilly of the valley. I love them
I live in senior housing with a patio. I grow lots of food. Im single so i dont have to produce a ton of it. Last year i grew 3 tomato plants and ate them thru November. I picked them green and let them get ripe in the window. This year im doing 10 container tomato plants. Last year the kale made enough for 12 quart baggies stuffed full and im down to 1 package. I grow herbs, zuc, yellow squash, lettuce and potatoes, just to name a few. Each year as money allows i grow more and more. Even with limited space i save money on the produce i grow. It makes me feel good and im glad i love to garden. Where there is a will, there is a way.
Melanie I am so proud of you!!!
Thank you for sharing Melanie. I liked what Tessie said about "No, your not going to grow a year's supply of food with containers" but they are wonderful if it's just one person, a little can go a long way!
Lilly of the Valley is my FAVORITE flower❤ You said, "Smell it once it stays with you all summer" How about, "Smell it once, it stays with you a lifetime" Thank you for that segment. It brought back wonderful childhood memories of these flowers lining the side of my parent's house❤
I have wine barrels cut in half; to use as my container gardening
You have an amazing garden, Tessie! Gorgeous!
Tessie your green houses so pretty. I have a lot containers that I am growing food it works for us. We have had a very wet season here. Is your flower called Lily of the valley. I grow the Peace Lily in my yard. Thanks for sharing. GBY and your family.
Tessie, I Love Container Gardening -- You Really Can Grow Some Amazing Things🙂,
Blessings, Andrea
Those are pretty flowers. I have lots of rose of Sharron growing in my yard and they are edible. The leaves and flowers. The leaves make a nice tea.
My mother used to grow Lilly of the Valley on the north side of our house and I loved mowing the grass and go past them and breathe in deep. The only other thing I can equate it to is in Florida when the orange blossoms are in bloom, to drive past an orchard is heavenly
This is such a great idea! I do cherry tomatoes this way.
I must've "burnt up too many braincells" over the decades... I can remember that Ma, had the "Lillies of the Valley" around 2× different houses ... I just can't remember the FRAGRANCE of them!!! (It's been almost 50× years, since I can remember seeing any.)
Tessie, Your garden is just amazing I have to get going on planting soon I don't know the name of that flower it sure looks beautiful and makes a beautiful adornment on you Tessie The Flower Girl :-) Love you my Sister :-) God Bless You and Ken :-)

Lilly of the valley
Wow, Tessie! Seems to have just exploded on your homestead! Lots of green. Lilies are poisonous to cats, please don't grow them if you have outdoor friends.
Muguet perfume…. Lily of the Valley
Plant the pips of this plant and they multiply on their own, as they are rhizomes. They do well in the shade.
Hi Tessie

@@pr9764 Hello Andrea and happy Friday. It's been a pretty good day.
Your garden is very healthy looking.

There once was a cologne called "MoguetDubuia" I'm not sure of the spelling but it smelled like Lilly of the valley!
Third :-)
Wow, your grapes look fabulous. Your whole garden does, but I am trying to grow grapes from a start this year and mine looks like a twig compared to yours. I'm really amazed at how they will eventually look. Thanks for another great video. See you next time.
Thanks tessie! Lilies of the valley, sooo perfect! See ya soon sweet tessie! ❤👍♥️
Can you dry lily of the valley for sachets?
You can but when the flowers dry so does the scent it leaves so there's not really much of a scent but you can press the flowers and they're very pretty when they're pressed and you can make all kinds of crafts with them
Lilly of the valley ❤
Hi tessie. Your garden looks so nice. Lily of the valley.. I love these flowers 😊❤
Lily of the valley, I just love the smell of them!
Hi yall😊
Hi Tami :-)
Hi There Tami 🙂
Hi tami 😊
I buy a LOT of Renee's seeds. She is west of us near San Jose. Her container vegetables produce a LOT of vegetables. Planting French intensive mode prevents weeds and allows me to grow a massiev amount of vegetables in a smaller area.
My favorites are her tri colour bush beans, tri colour carrots, rainbow beets, ti colour Italian eggplant, various mesclun lettuces, sugar cube melons, Armenian and English cucumbers, rainbow sherbet watermelon, purple crush cauliflower, bicolour corn, black krim and marvel striped tomatoes.
Last fall I ordered rhubarb and asparagus from her and they arrived three weeks ago and I am so looking forward to them producing as well.
Things are looking good in your greenhouses ❤ I have grown Many things in containers over the years. I planted some of that lily of the valley by my pond when I made it years ago and Wow it is Very Invasive here ! Its trying to take over the whole flower bed so if any of your viewers plant it they should be aware of that possibility😮 Back in the late 60s there was a lily of the Valley perfume that smelled just like the flowers❤
Beautiful garden ❤❤❤
❤
I love love love the garden tour. Your garden gives me hope that someday I can have my own.
Good evening Tessie❤😊
Good Evening Forever Lovely 🙂,
Blessings, Andrea
Tessie how did you come by those pots.I would love some of them.😊

Lily of the valley is also one of my favorites. In france this is handed out on May 1st as a symbol of good luck
looks so good
I wish I could grow all that stuff… I have too many deer 🦌:-(
Your place looks amazing!!!
So do we. We live set back in a wooded area. We get to share our garden with the critters. But they were here 1st, so we manage with fences and cages for plants.
I have always loved the sent of the “Lilly of the Valley “
Your Garden Is Truly Luscious Tessie 😊,

lily of the valley. Your plants are gorgeous!! I love things that come back every year. I'll bet your property is even more beautiful in person than what your video shows, and it looks jaw droppings awesome! Thanks for sharing.❤😊
Good morning Tessie, Sisters, Brothers, and Friends, Wish you all a wonderful blessed Saturday filled with Gods Joy and Happiness :-) Remember to pray for one another and for all around the world :-) God Bless You ! Love you all :-) Keep Smiling be safe :-)
Good morning Pretty Tessie ❤ We also have to be careful with what we plant because of the deer as well! I have Lily of the valley in the shady corner next to the porch. I just figured out what it was two days ago. It is about a 3x3 patch of it! I also found a honeysuckle, purple lilac, white lilac, and some elderberries.
Seeing Kenny's yellow marigolds in the greenhouse, I think you should grow a variety of marigolds in your garden! Grow them once and scatter the seeds every year through out the garden! I think it would look great! Those flowers were lily of the valley! My grandmother had a whole strip of them along her driveway! You smelled them as soon as you walked out the front door! A small bunch fragranced the whole house! God Bless!😊❤
Your grape arbor is so pretty. All the green growing things are pretty. I haven't found hardly anywhere is the June bearing strawberries. We have poisonous hemlock that grows along the road by us. They spray it but it comes back every yr.
Would live to see how you harvest your seeds ie garlic and when you plant and how you plant and other plant seeds you save would be good information
Will do!
Great video, Tessie. I absolutely love your homestead property. Container gardening is fantastic for anyone who is starting out or has limited space. Renee's Garden seeds are incredible; I planted several herbs and vegetables from them this year.
Your gardens and green houses are just beautiful! 🌸🌿🌼🌱🌻🍃

Hi everyone 🙂
Hello Linda, Good To See You 🙂,

Oh, Lily the valley.Oh, how I missed those in my yard. I tore them out because I had little kids and I was worried they were going to grab them. Now I wish I had them here. The smell, the little Bells, remind me of my Grandma Nana. You're tired and it just makes me smile cause I'm so happy for you. I know what a blessing and enjoyment it is to you. Thank you so much for sharing. I have a question.I had route barb in the past and it did amazing. Well then I moved it and I can't get it to do good again. Can you give me any insight? I remember sitting in my Grandma on a farm. When I was a little girl in Wisconsin? It in rubarb dipton sugar because it was so tart and the sugar made it edible. But I love rhubarb sauce and different things. I need to get it growing better so that I can enjoy it more.
Love it, my sister in Christ.👍💕🙏🙋🏻♀️🌱
Lilly of the Valley. My Sissy's fave❤️
Beautiful Video Tessie! Have a blessed day

I’m partial to gardenia
Tessie, there is a beautiful semi new PINK variety of liliy of the valley, have you seen them? Maybe one of your ladies out there could send you the address of one of the magazines that sells them. Just a thought. Love your show.❤
Oh my goodness I never even heard of that i'm going to have to look it up that would be so much fun to have them I will search and see if I can find them on sale anywhere
Hi Tessie.I love your videos, your gardens and planters are so pretty. I was wondering what happen to your chickens.? keep up the good work. You are living the dream a lot of us would like to have. God Bless
It's been a year since I had my chickens my chickens are at our daughter's home we have a Fox family that lives in our woods then I didn't really want anything to happen to my chickens so back then I gave them to our daughter and my granddaughters and I decided to keep them there we have a lot of wildlife now and I really don't want anything to happen to my chickens
God gave you a green thumb. ❤

Very nice Tessie.

Yes it would continue to grow back but in the heat of the summer it will not grow this is a spring and fall crop
Iilly of the valley
Lily of the Valley
Thanks Tessie
Tessie how do you keep the critters out of your grapes? By the time ours ripens the wildlife are getting them before we do.
Thankfully we never have any issues with our grapes the deer earned any animals eat them so I am very thankful come September when it's harvest time
The Lily of the valley.😍

The deer don't eat your strawberries?
No in fact the deer haven't been eating anything this year I put a bunch of solar lights that are different colors and that's seeming to chase them away
