Love this piece of art. I am so impressed how you were able to add, build and change to get a more and more beautiful painting. It is funny the name I was thinking about calling it kept evolving too. Thank you for another wonderful video!
Aww, you're so kind to me, thank you 😌💞! Just out of interest, what was the name you finally thought of for the title of this painting? I'm interested that you found it evolving while the painting did, and feel that's the exact 'essence' of abstract artwork really, so thanks again 👍💯
I saw individual particles of light hitting a cityscape. I was thinking, "Quantum of Light". In the beginning I thought, "Coffee Stained Tea Towel" but you worked your magic! ❤
@@AlienShuttlecraft 😂🤣! I LOVE the coffee stained tea towel!! That's brilliant 😂! I'm glad it improved and I very much like the Quantum of Light idea, thank you 😉
The colours and shapes look beautiful together! I am a photorealistic painter and I have no idea how I would do something like this. I always need a reference photo to look at. I would like to try some abstract work, but find it very hard to get started.
Thanks very much, Bonnie 😀. I also paint realistic work, especially pet portraits which have to be right, but I do enjoy the completely different process of abstract painting. It's a bit like letting my logical mind have some 'play time' to just see where my non-logical mind wants to go! The easiest way to 'let go' of the precision artwork, is to maybe focus on one shape - circle, square, triangle - and keep building up from there. I do have some other videos which you might find interesting too. Thanks for watching and for your great comments ☺️💕
@@helenworthington1826 Thank you so much for your advice. I had a look at your other videos and was amazed that you're working realistically as well. Wow! Just fantastic!
This pai ting is absolutely gorgeous. Do you ever make awful paintings? I seem to make more crap than anything I like. I'm learning to become more intuitive and not focus on the end product.
You're so kind, Anna, thank you! I think it's probably that beauty is in the eye of the beholder with most paintings - some people will like them, some won't. We're always our own harshest critics too! I'm sure your paintings are great, you're just too 'close' and invested in them to see them objectively. The main thing is to keep going until you find you like more of your work than you dislike. I still don't like everything I do, but have learnt that's normal for me! Best of luck with your continuing journey, and thank you again 😊
Very nice, Helen!!! Love those colours and it's so helpful to be able to watch your process!!!
Many thanks, Roxanne ☺️. Glad you found the process helpful - don't hesitate to ask if I can help you at all 😉
@@helenworthington1826 Thanks Helen 💗
Beautiful ❤
Thank you so much, Raluca! Glad you like it 😊 x
very nice, something to try
Thank you very much 😊! Hope you enjoy having a try 🤞
name suggestion: "circular reasoning" very pretty!! : D
That's an excellent name, Judith, thank you 😄. It's also quite apt as my thoughts often go round in circles 😅! Glad you like it 🙏
