The voices that seek to influence our choices are louder. They are more emphatic, they are more prolific and much more anti biblical than they have ever been before. These influences are completely anti-God, and in today's culture they seek to destroy what God has created. To some degree, these are the same things that Paul is going to address when he writes over and over again about the identity of the Ephesians that we should find in Christ.
Who am I in Christ? We must turn back to God's Word, the Bible, to find our true identity, to find out who I am in Christ. It is because Jesus died that He can offer forgiveness and that because Jesus rose from the dead, He can give us victory and eternal life. These are the things that serve as the origins of our identity.
