Very cute my niece said that she tried the nail polish thing for dried blood b4 and if you wanted to make it a little darker add some of the black you find everywhere right now to the red and it dries darker.
I love these! I bet you could make a great looking homemade Halloween candelabra, like you would see in an old Bela Lugosi movie. I love it when they light the candles in those and go downstairs to see what that noise was. You always know they are walking into something horrible, lol.
CraftKlatch And almost always, after whatever it is gets them, you see the camera pan to the candelabra on the floor with the candles breaking. I think that part makes me cringe almost as much as the victim getting killed, lol. I love candles and candelabras.
We can NEVER find those candle holder pillars at my store... but a flashlight could also be used as a base. That could be really cool too! Thanks Mona!
These are awesome!!! You could probably use wine glasses too if you have the right size..perfect if you have broken one or two out of sets, you can use the unbroken mismatched ones!
Those are awesome! :) I was going to make a pumpkin snowman for the front yard this weekend but thought it might be too soon. The pumpkins may rot before Halloween as it has been quite warm again in Texas. Almost 90 degrees today. Supposed to get another cool front though the end of this week and I hope it sticks around. By cool I mean 70's during the day and 50's at night. :P - Heidi
Could I spray paint the glasses black and put the red polish down them, cause Halloween is my favorite holiday I may just want to use them all year lol
I like your idea. You would not be able to see the bones in the bowl so I would put a skeleton in the top sitting up or make it look like it is trying to get out. Maybe just have a bowl full of skeletons. I may do this too. I have the black spray paint. The stem and base could be painted orange to make it more Halloweenish. Thank you for the idea.

Summer Himes imma try the idea and do mines a lil different
I'm going to do several and each a different way because I can't decide. I'm doing my first one Mona's way.
You could absolutely spray paint them black. You could do a metallic inside, so you get a little more light reflecting out of it.
@Summer - I love the idea of the skeleton trying to get out!
These are pretty scary. lol
Thanks Robin!
I bet your house is creepy at Halloween... Lol
Less than you think! There aren't any kids in the neighborhood to trick or treat and all the nieces and nephews are grown up. :(
