PCIE riser cables are gen-specific, your motherboard and graphics card BOTH have gen requirements for maximum speed in operation...you can use newer gen cables on older hardware, but using older gen cables with newer hardware will result in reduced speed.

@@Aggeesound basically same as the other fans except you need to use longer screws. Same screws you use to mount fans on a radiator
