- When God told us to adopt a deaf girl from Africa, we had no idea what was in store for us. For 6 years Eden had no language, no communication, and no concept of love or family.
Wella is from Ghana, Eden is from Nigeria, Harriette and Valor are from my womb.

She is absolutely gorgeous 😍!! What a beautiful gift from Jesus 😇
❤ she gets more uniquely beautiful all the time 😊 0.2%!!!
This is good to test her to see what the audiologist report is…I’m so sorry Eden has no hearing!
God has an AMAZING plan for her life! We will continue to pray for MIRACULOUS HEALING for Eden’s ears in JESUS NAME!🙏🏽
🙌🙌🙌
she doesn’t need a miracle. she just can’t hear! she will learn sign language and to read lips. she will develop to be a beautiful woman some day with the help of her family.
😊she is the cutest! Even when you're profoundly or even have a tiny little hearing. That vibrations are something else! I was born fully hearing, lost 100% of my left suddenly at 15 years old. And started to lose the right at 24, I'm 33 now and I'm profound but i remember sound i even cheat on the tests 😂😂😂 they laugh so hard at me! Im convinced i can heard more than i can because i help myself reading lips and body language and using vibrations and my aid still helps a bit, next step is a cochlear. But that vibrations from the tests can drive you nuts!!! 😢explain a lot to Eden, as much as she can understand what it can happen so she can give you all better response on what she's feeling and also it's very overwhelmed because even profoundly deaf, vibrations can be felt and its a weird feeling. I have autism and every time i have check ups i end up crying completely overwhelmed (of course i also keep going down with my hearing).
Checking vibrations with her it's a great tool, she can learn a lot! I know if i have someone behind me several times. Instead of looking for my eye contact you can hit the table at meals, you can do big steps and generate vibrations on purpose to not scare her by appearing behind. She can feel a car coming by put a foot in the road. She can dance, enjoy music. Im actually a special Olympics gymnast and i do my floor routine woth music 😊
You can dm me whenever you want, seriously vibrations is learning and is life changing! @agusfernandez_uru IG ❤
Thanks for Sharing with us this! We pray for God's healing touch upon Eden's ears. God bless you Wilsons.
Thank you! ❤️🙏
May God bless her and bless you all. She has come a long ways since you welcomed her into your home. Have a blessed week.
Thank you!❤️
Ikr. They have done a very very great job 🥹😍
I’m an audiologist at a school for the deaf. So glad the family signs so she has access to language and communication! An SLP can help her work on general language skills, not just speech, as you probably know. Your county or state should have an office for disability support that can help with funding for service/therapies/equipment for her at home. I know you homeschool, but might want to consider at least a summer camp at a school for the deaf so she can be more connected to the deaf community.
She is working with an SLP and deaf educator at our local elementary school 😊 We also have deaf neighbors that we enjoy spending time with! It’s best case scenario for our rural area!
Will she get to learn braille? That would truly open up her world with books. Does she practice sign language to be fluent? Thanks for the video. May God bless your family greatly, and may God continue to supply your family with all your needs! Amen! In Jesus name! Amen!🙏🕊🙏😇
@@monnie1027she is deaf . she isn’t blind. she wouldn’t need Braille! she will learn to sign and read ask any other child.
@@monnie1027Why would she need to learn braille she is not blind?
Eden is beautiful!!!
Yes she is!
An ear infection had me search online and ever since that I get videos on youtube about deafness of course. Got to say, finding this channel made the ear infection worth it. Love from The Netherlands
Omg she smiles so much when she heard the sound…. She’s beautiful.
She didn’t hear it, but she could feel the vibration from the sound 😊
Good luck! Hope she can hear soon even a little.
❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful investigation you guys! Love you!
❤️❤️❤️
Firstly, the only word that came to my mind for both parents is AMAZING 👏 💖. GOD bless you and your children immensely.
My aunt had Scarlet Fever and she became deaf in her left ear.
She seems happier learning sign language.
YHWH sent her to you. She will have the best chance to become what he has planned for her under your guidance. Praying for your family.
Thank you❤️🙏
She is beautiful. I’m so glad you all found each other ❤
She’s so beautiful- all of your little ones are.
This was so heartwarming. Thanks for all the love you show to your children ❤
Genetics or sickness is the cause. I'm born Deaf that I got it from my parents. I also use American Sign Language to communicate 🤟🏽.
👋❤️🤟
I know everyone is saying it…but her beauty is captivating. I kept rewinding just to look at her.
I did rewind too. She is beautiful.
Praise Yah for this! Praying for you all ❤🙂
I was born hearing, at 3 weeks old i got sick with spinal megenitis. Parents found out im deaf @ age 2.5 yrs old. I use ASL & i also speak. 🤟🏻
Hello, so nice to meet you! So glad you found our video! We do not know our daughters history, but it is highly possible she had a similar situation with sickness happen to her. Thank you for sharing with us ❤️🤟
I also lost my hearing to meningitis, at 1 yr old, but not all of it. I'm completely deaf in my left ear and partially in my right. I've never met anyone else like that so your comment got my attention!
She's a Beautiful Girl.
Deaf school? Education better and Understand BETTER 😊 but WORTH
Wow!! Eden is so so so beautiful ❤
Yes she is 😊
You guys are an amazing family ❤
Thank you for saying that!❤️
I had a friend who went deaf as a child after getting meningitis,i learned a little ASL from her.
You guys are amazing. Beautiful souls.
Thank you for saying that❤️
She so beautiful 😊
Maybe cochler implants could help her to be able to hear, it is covered by most insurances. Also after a while it could maybe help her to start speaking or reading lips, with speech therapy. There is a youtube channel The Deal Family who has a daughter who is deaf and got cochlear implants and now is able to hear and talk. When your daughter is upset she is probably frustrated because she can't express or say to you what she wants or needs. Sign language is good communication but it takes some time to get used to. Some helpful things are like having an ipad or pictures of things she wants like, images like outside, or park, or food items, or feelings....sad, happy,ect...Also if she could type or write she could express her feelings faster and easier. She is young, she may not know all of the sign language since she is still learning and young. Yall are amazing parents, love your channel.
You have to understand that a child getting cochlear implants doesn’t mean they will speak afterwards. She is already an older child, so she won’t be able to speak like a regular person would at this point.
I’m impressed with her beauty
This is a beautiful family. Wishing you all the best❤
❤😊
You’re beautiful edenyy 😍🥰
Trust in the dr.
Mine was born with microtia atresia on one side, so no components either inside.
ありがとうございます🙏🙏🌺🇯🇵
May God bless you forever ❤may you never lack🇿🇼
Thank you ❤️🙏
I really think that she will be able to hear really soon just saying that now
😃
Are there any specialists that she can be taken too
We are planning to do that next month 😊
Did you ever think about CI?
❤❤❤❤🙏 🙏
maybe y'all can get her hearing aids so that way she can hear y'all?
You have to already have hearing for hearing aids to work 😊
Can Coloculor implants help?
We don’t know…that would have to be up to her when she’s older.
@@KayleeWilsoncan it be tried now this way she can live a quality life. She is very beautiful btw thank you for sharing.
Many children who are borned deaf have gotten Coloculor implants as infants. My former neighbor had a child who got them before he was a year old
Yes. They don’t work hardly at all unless they’re implanted at a young age.
@@Jojo-in1wx can she get them implanted
Are cochlear implants an option for her
Can she get a cochlear implant? My cousin has one and she can hear with that.
The next question is she able to get cochlear implants, if that is something she's interested in.
I’m not sure they would work for her, but we wouldn’t make that desicion for her regardless. Lots of negative side effects, especially for someone that has been deaf their whole life and is used to complete silence. We’re also not thrilled for the brain surgery it entails. But as we gather more information and do more research, we will share with her as she gets older 😊
@KayleeWilson like I said, if she interested. I have a deaf daughter who isn't interested in them. We have friends that have them and love it.
@KayleeWilson I didn't push them on my daughter. My daughter has usher syndrome. She has been sever/profound since she has been born.
How old is your daughter? Do you guys use sign language?
@KayleeWilson she 29 now and yes we use sign language. Her three girls are learning sign language. She also reads lips and has learned verbal communication.
Since you are both devout Christians, please don't take the doctor's report as the final report, even though the doctor did her job well. Please compile the scriptures where JESUS CHRIST healed deaf persons. Pray them daily over Eden and ask GOD to heal her deafness. Also, read and pray over her John 11 daily. Let GOD be the One to issue The Final Verdict and Report, in JESUS' Mighty Name, Amen 🙏.
😂 you have no idea what you are talking about that wasn’t a doctor that was audiologist! i was born hard of hearing. but they didn’t find out til i was 7years old!! i was born with no nerve in left ear they didn’t see it til i had mri. my nephew actually has same thing i was born with we didn’t find out til he was 16years old. Deaf/ hard if hearing has absolutely nothing to do with GOD! SMH unbelievable this why so many children are looked down on because of none sense like this.
Please do research and not look for answers in bible.
@@PrettyNpetty86I agree! God has nothing to do with our hearing losses. It doesn’t matter how hard you pray we are still deaf.
My mum got told when I was a kid that I had sinned in a previous life and that is why I'm deaf, jokes on them ciz l love being deaf 🙈😂
As someone with who is hard of hearing an has deaf friends that comment is very offensive to us with disabilities you can recovery from a disability but going to a good school helps
@jcjohnson628 Disabled person here. And christian believer, too. Your comment is very ableistic. People are divers! In skincolour, bodyshapes, tongue, age, gender, charasteristics, talents ect. and , believe it or not, in their abilities!!! Why is there always this concept of the 100% functioning body?
Hello, May I share the most important news you will ever hear in your life? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?
Too late for what ??
❤❤❤
