Jimmy is definitely a short leash, one inning reliever type, he doesn't have the gas tank of a starter. Couldn't find the zone with a map and a flashlight on the back end of this double header.
Feel like he could’ve used some Kushy dreams or the Cannadips because yeah he was outta gas for sure. A little pick me up might’ve helped his performance.
My absolute favorite part of the blitzball series is Jimmy's slow heart of darkness style descent into madness. Give us just a good solid 5 minute supercut of him spiking balls and kicking bats, Zack.
@Coding Crusader You're slow. People become accustomed to their climate. Im near Philly, NY gets brutal humidity. We've had multiple heatwaves this summer all with high unrelenting humidity. I've been in the desert with the temp being 117. I'll take that all day vs 97 in NY with the humidity.

Suggestion to make pitchers stats look better: just divide earned runs by innings to get ERA because games are only 1 inning. That would give Jomboy a 0.75 ERA and Jake a 1.57 ERA (prior to the game in this video). Does anyone else like this idea?
@@michaeljordan6239 right that’s why it should be per inning it would be way better. But they’re doing that now in a slightly diff way they do er per game. My only gripe w that is some are 1 inning games some are 2. But still much better
I just found these things called pack out balls. They're white, foam baseballs, with raised (fake) red stitching, so you can actually apply curve and spin to your pitch. We figured out, you fill a little bin or tupperware with water. Put the ball in there, and squish it until it's full of water. Squeeze it almost all out, so nothing pours out when you squeeze it, but the center/inside of the ball is still water logged. Best practice shit ever! Feels almost as heavy as a baseball, pitches like one, only flies far if you hit it solid, and it won't break a window, or your buddy's face. Best part, you can still hit them with a wood or metal bat. Whiffle balls wrapped up with a layer of white electrical to cover all the holes, are the next best option. Little harder than the foam. Can't really pitch em fancy. Try the packout balls dunked with water!
Petition to move the pitchers mound closer for further games at this park. It might be a hit for the ol' ego, but seeing 90% of the pitches miss the zone isnt much fun.
I know Jimmy plays disc golf. I’d LOOOVE to see some videos of you guys doing that. I don’t usually watch baseball on tv but I watch all these blitzball videos. Maybe people that don’t play disc golf would still be entertained watching you guys play it and it could bring a lot of new people to the sport. 🤷♂️

I've really enjoyed this series, but every episode I cant help but wish they pitched from a little closer. Not even like softball close, just like 5 feet closer would do wonders. Seems like blitzball only has 2 true outcomes, a walk or a groundout.
As the expert arbitrator I’m Glad to see Jake get redemption after the controversial calls last game. He didn’t let it get to his head and he came out and proved himself. This is what makes the game great.
Don’t pour water on your head or your neck always soak your feet or your hands when you cool down the spine it sends signals to your brain that you’re already cold and it starts heating up the core
to everyone talking about sleeve length. yes if the sun has set short sleeves cool you down faster. but if the sun is up; exposing your skin allows it to burn. which could make you just as hot. if he is wearing something light enough to allow air flow so the sweat can evaporate he might be better off then letting the sun fry him out there. of course to each their own. but i personally cover up in the sun so my pale ass dont burn. but i dont wear tight, dark clothing either. gotta find that balance that works for you.
Jomboy should have taken a page from Milwaukee's Adrian Hauser. Call the dinosaurs, plant a little puke tree and get back at it. His stats are solid post-puke.
Bring a cooler with ice for drinks and tuck an icecube in your waist band against your back if you get too hot. Your aorta flows right through there and it is basically air conditioning for your blood stream. Source: I'm a roofer.
