56, no kids and divorced and no friends. I am truly alone. There are days I realize I have not even spoke a word for days. I go back and forth in my head, I never had kids cause I always got with single moms. Did not learn till my divorce I sabotaged myself. In that marriage I realized they were just tolerating me so i left. I have been alone. Cried alone. It took awhile to figure out the world had changed when I wanted to try to date again. I am not a chad so I am invisible. Women see me coming and there head goes into their phone to ignore me. In these end times I have no debt no bills, I think I got my act together. All my life, I preferred to be alone and really got things done that way. No distractions. I was in a relationship once in my 20s and it was a disaster because he was a narcissist and very abusive. I ended up writing about it and am helping others with narcissistic abuse nowadays. It was an eye-opener that turned my life around and I realized I required healing -- which may have been the reason why I preferred to be alone all along. That was the emotional part I was not aware of, but I had always been a strong individual when it comes to managing things and getting things done or reaching my goals. Now, I feel that superpower has become even stronger with the awareness of how to spot toxic or abusive people. Being alone is self-protection in this day and age. I am not saying everyone is a bad person, but as chosen ones, we tend to attract a lot of people who like to get something from us and they are wearing masks; or people turn on us and get envious because we reach our goals with ease and always have things going on in our lives. We need to learn to navigate in this world in a different way. I do not understand people who constantly need people around themselves -- as an INTJ I do not understand them anyways.

Im a HGV Driver so I'm alone most of the time..
Im married & have 1 daughter so I have 2 holidays.. 1, The 3 of us go & 2, I go alone for autonomy & freedom..
I go running & walking alone..
I catch up with mates time to time so I would say I'm 80% alone 20% family & friends.
When I was younger that percentage would be switched around as I found being alone boring... Now being alone is peace quiet and freedom.

I understand what you saying. I'm living with and around drunks and druggiez all my life in the middle of this and it's not easy when your differnt trust me. But heading to the pub with your friends or woman for a laugh or few drinks is just normal where I live and healthy for a strong healthy united people.

I don’t even know how people are always in one relationship after another, I’ve been single for 6 years and it went by so fast. I don’t even know how people find continuous relationships that they actually WANT to be in one after another. It’s amazing how people live totally different lives from one another, my friends have all been in one ltr after another since high school, I joined the navy and did other things away from home. Not saying one is better than the other but I just don’t think I would know who I was if I was literally always in a relationship as a young adult.

Recently had someone snap at me. Out of nowhere a friend got pissy when I asked why he's ignoring my text.
