He did not abandon her. He said in an interview that Nicole was 6 when he and Nicole’s mom split, but that they had remained close. Nicole’s mom is Hawaiian/Ukrainian. Now that Nicole is engaged will her biological father or adopted father walk her down the isle?
@@eam4689 Not true. Nicole's dad left them when she was just a baby, not 6 years old. By that time Nicole's mom already remarried and she was adopted by her stepdad. Nicole and her biological dad only reconnected when she was already in her 30s, and she doesn't seem close to him even years later.

Nicole is not full Filipina she also has Samoan and Hawaiian and Ukranian descent. Her Mum is half Hawaiian and half Ukrainian and Dad is of Filipino heritage. So Nicole saying/suggesting she is Filipina (as in pure) is not true. I think she may use her many different cultures, depending on where she is performing 😉 she is a dynamic performer she was the best in Pussycat Dolls
