It's The Skill Of Rider In Cases Such As This. He Addressed That Fact In The Beginning... He's Not A Street Racer. Meaning, Launching A Bagger Let Alone A Turbo'd Bagger On The Street Won't Be An Accurate Account Of Performance Due To Skill Level 👌🏿.
I'm not sure this video was an entirely accurate representation, but that is for the eye of the viewer to decide. I currently ride a 2019 Road Glide Special with Stage 3 117 kit with a torque cam. I have a Trask Turbo kit on it. It's still a belt drive and handles it quite well. Is it fast? For a Harley, yes it is. I came from the sport bike community, and one of the best bikes I've ever owned was my 2003 Hayabusa. It's heavy for a sport bike (which actually isn't its class) - I think it's around 500 pounds. A $5000 Busa could walk any Harley in first gear, I'm not fooling anyone, and lets face it, what does a Road Glide weigh - 850 pounds? You can't lie to physics. I put the turbo on my Glide for something to do. I would suggest that it is a better mod than any engine work. At least the turbo kit could be removed and the bike put back to normal. The bike runs the best of any bike I have owned - thank Thundermax for that. Again, take this as it is, for, using the Thundermax negates your warranty (at least in Canada). One of the biggest problems factory Harleys have is that they can't breathe - the restriction is to meet with pollution standards. So, forcing air into it makes all the difference. The bike pulls hard, and I can outrun any HD I'm up against (new Sportsters nothwistanding with the PanAm engine - I haven't raced one yet). Some will say heat is the enemy, as it is on any air-cooled engine. However, one advantage over an engine mod is that if I'm not on it, the boost is at 0psi. In fact, in 6th gear, I can do just under 120 km/h at zero boost, which means the usability of the bike is maintained - my wife & I still tour on it. Well, that's my two cents, anyways - take it for what it's worth.
I have ridden both exact same setups and the stocker will put you asleep compared to the non stop pull of the turbo. By the way nice protection use guys.
looks like 2-4 bike length from the drone shot, shidddd if that was a Soft tail with a with stage three turbo bike might of be surprised, I was surprise at how well the stock 107 did, the 124 turbo is underwhelming at best for the cost to performance, i dont know where he get 12 bike length from lol..I personally would never turbo my harley...
I sure hope you guys own that brand new 107 RoadGlide because taking this thing out on a test ride from a dealer is a douche way to treat someone else's brand new bike
@@FBombBaggers oh wow hope you have better luck then me with belts lol I beat on mine and it's all motor no turbo but definitely love the amazing setups and the sound too
For 107 was most definitely not a slouch. Goes to show just how well it runs against a built turbo charged motor. Plus if you would’ve dropped a cam in the 107 I don’t think there would’ve been that much of a difference.

I had 107 RG left the dealer with 12 mile… it hit 12000 this year and every mile was damn near on the rev limiter… never had a single issue ever
Those first 12 was probably the only miles not at 5250 rpm

Not sure what the purpose of running a stocker against that bad boy.....But I enjoyed the hell out of it....Thanks

Is the difference in power worth the cost?
I don’t have a turbo but I have the SE 131 and it is very much worth the money.
Been debating if I should do some work to my 107. This video helped me make up my mind. Thanks for posting.
Well that disappointing for the turbo bike, all that extra money to be two bike lengths ahead …. Cool cool cool
I'd kill to have a patch of asphalt like that out by my place. Looks like a super fun stretch of road
Run the 124 against a stock 117 cvo that would be a good race ????? I would love to see the difference
That turbo sounds so good 🔥🔥
I thought you're not supposed to abuse a new bike without going 500 miles for break-in
