I was truly shocked at the amount of family , friends, especially Bible believing Christians think our loved ones are in heaven playing with angels, looking down,and protecting the living. This error is not of God.

The world is steeped in spiritualism. It will be one of the main ways that people are deceived during the time of the mark of the beast. If one knows what the bible says about the state of the dead, as presented in this video, there is no need to be fooled. No need to be lost because one heard what they THOUGHT was a dead loved one revealing themselves in some spiritualistic way and advise them of what is correct. It won't be a dead loved one talking to them. It will be a demon. 🙏

This is correct. But also, Enoch and Elijah did also died. He is incorrect about that, as he contradicts himself soon after. It is appointed to ALL men to die. Including Jesus, including Elijah, including Enoch. He just misunderstands that point as most others misunderstand the state of the dead in general, which he is correctly teaching here. He admits death applies to ALL men herein just after he incorrectly excluded those two.
You said that moses died aged 110. He died an early death because god told him to go on the mountain and die. If he had been able to go to the promised land he would have lived longer.
Man is immortal and will live forever in Heaven or Hell!! And the Worm shall never die... this is a description of the ceaseless agony of HELL!! Lazarus and the Rich man!! Man has a physical body a soul and a spirit!!!! And at death, the physical goes back to dust and the soul is separated and enters...
In the premise of your lecture pastor, the soul of man is just his body that returns to the ground when it dies and there is no "soul" returning to God. If the soul of a man just returns to dust, and there is no "soul" going back to the Lord our creator, who are those mentioned in Rev. 6:9-11? Are they taken to heaven with their "body" taken from dust? Are these not "souls" being immortal pastor who are just waiting for the proper time to "live" once again in New Jerusalem with the governance of God?

I pray that Pastor Bohr will continue to quote God's prophet Ellen White as many Adventists are unaware of the rich treasures of truth available to them and how to use her inspired writings to help in their study of the Bible, especially at this time when many are seeking to silence the spirit of prophecy in the church. Others (Christians and worldlings) aren't afraid or ashamed to quote their prophets, stars and idols. Pastor Bohr establishes the truth based on the word and then amplifies the same by the inspired writings.

I think the term "Sola Scriptura" is often misused in error. That term was to describe that all doctrines & theologies be based on Scripture alone - and not added to or modified by cultural norms and traditions. We are incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful resource that not only is totally aligned with Scripture but gives us context and a deeper understanding that we really do take for granted. We should thank God every single day for giving us the gift of her writings. They are timeless, a gift borne of God's deepest desire to give us every possible help in this life, and manna to the soul. Let's not grieve the Holy Spirit by complaining that we're bored of the manna we were given; we may die from quails instead.

The prophet prayed to God to return the soul of a dead boy and the soul was returned.
