Good for Charlie realizing alcohol is not meant for him. After dealing with a family member who needed professional recovery intervention, I have learned that alcohol in some actually changes brain wiring and the more you drink, the more the changes occur. What is most important to realize is that because of this, even one drink can set off the awful addiction cycle. I am not indicating Charlie has this issue and it is none of my business. I know people who choose not to drink for many reasons. I just wanted to put it out there that for some, drinking even occasionally is not a possibility. I wish I had known this years ago.

Lovely Josie ~ I LOVE when it's a regular day at your home, talking to Charlie about the home and spending time with the sausages! It gives us a perspective into how the products you recommend to us actually fit into your daily life. Every vlog doesn't have to be action packed with events. I've been WAITING SO LONG for you to spent the night at Freddie's flat since the moment she told us that she received the keys this year! You fit perfectly into her flat with the beautiful decor and isn't like all of us to quietly open cupboards to find things we need in the kitchen and bathroom of our bestie's flats? Just perfection with the Josie and Freddie friendship!

For his TV furniture, they make sliders you put under the feet so it protects the floor and slides easier :) also command strips would attach the TV to it without damaging the furniture as well

Charlie - that’s exactly what I asked a local chippie to do. There was a fabulous one in Fulham we used to go to THE BEST but the owners moved away. Thankfully we have a fab one in Cheam Village - worth asking next time you go

Again, CRAZY proud of Charlie. That T.V almost falling… my blood pressure went THROUGH THE ROOF! May I suggest, when ere there are little Irons running around there will be a 100% chance that spills will happen. Get your couches treated with something for stain and liquid protection. In the states, it’s called Scotch Guard.

Another great Vlog. I would be really interested in non-alcohol wine/drinks, but I haven't found one I like as yet. It would be good if Charlie went through some non-alcoholic drinks as an alternative. Plus, little tips he may have for sticking to his guns not drinking, especially over Christmas. After seeing the home grown box you opened and knowing your love of all things Cotswolds you might want to check out Woodchester Valley Vineyard. It’s south Cotswolds in the Stroud valleys. The Waverley novels of Walter Scott look great yes, even if ironically you never read them. I always connect them to my great grandfather who read them many many moons ago! I just looked up the plots and they sound right up my street too. They are a mix of history, romance and adventure, often set in Scotland. Im imagining that these wild tales of history and adventure would appeal to a man whose job as a cloth buyer, required lots of travel in the UK and France! Being on the road a lot he'd have plenty of time to idle away reading. I wonder if any of these were made into films!
