A Navy friend had a .458 Socom upper and a 300 Blackout upper on the same lower. I loved the .458 Socom. I carry .45 ACP so it was just a bit longer with a touch more powder. 😅

Definitely liking the more frequent videos. I have been shooting and hunting with the 450 Bushy for 5 years, one shot drops on all deer and hogs that the cross hairs have settled on - doesn’t matter whether it is the 250 grain FTX or the 300 XTP MAG coming out of the barrel. Got some!

I love shooting mine, but it's an expensive gun to feed. Reloading helps, but the initial layout if you start with factory loads can make your wallet thinner real quick...Still worth it.

I've been reloading for 25 years... shot and reloaded for chamberings you CAN'T buy... downloaded pistol pressures for more controllability in competition...made some "monster Loads" (within Specs) for some real thumpers [many factory loads are significantly below max spec, and you better have the right firearm for the beefier rounds]... and "tweeked" rifle loads for better accuracy at long distance. I do buy most "plinking ammo", but when it's not available?... it's a nice option to be able to load my own.
Its not just about cost, but it is a feature of it. When I can Reload 500 rounds for some calibers for what it would cost me to buy 100 rounds?.. Well yeah, I have to work more, but I get to shoot more, too.
I'll admit that it's not for everyone and there is an inherent risk ( more so with those without patience or respect for things that go *BOOM* ), but for many it suits them just fine.
I've been to my outdoor Gun Club 8 times in the last 3 weeks to test out new loads and I can attest, it's great to get out of the house, and I'm not worried about "running low"... as many others seem to be.
But hey, you do you.
