Bought it, tried it for couple of times and returned it. 600 wats on this machine is not enough to knead 500 grams of flour with 65% hydration. The motor strugles. Kithen aids 300 wats motor is strong enough to knead 1 kg of flour. I know the price point is hugely different, but anyway, don't buy it if you want it primarily for dough kneading.

I have just now watched the review for the next model up from this one, which has the additional blender. Same machine, functions, accessories, yet no mention of it being’lightweight’ or ‘plastic’ or the speed control loose. I think you’re biased and therefore choose to disregard your comments. I’m buying this today regardless.

Then buy it. I don’t feel he is being Biased. I think you made up in your mind you wanted to buy it. Therefore do so. But I Would not expect the same quality as a KitchenAid. I’m just saying.

Seems like you didn’t like this machine before you even unpacked it! Wonder why?

He said it is very lightweight, all really good stand mixers are made of metal and heavy and get heavier and more powerful the more professional they are. Kitchen Aid Mixers are like $200 and are made very well, heavy and all metal but they still don't compare to real professional mixes which can cost 1000's but the Kitchen Aid mixers are awesome for cooking at home and should last forever with a little care, should be able to pass it down with pride to your children but not everyone cooks or bakes that much from scratch anymore and depending on where you live in the world and of course how much money you have. But, this cheapo one at Lidl does have a pleasing appearance and might be okay if you don't use it too heavily and all the time. Cookie Dough can be hard on a mixing machine and especially mixing up dough into a ball can take some serious power and sturdiness. It is good to do it by hand, great exercise. lol But these machines make it so easy and faster. Mixing up a cake mix isn't too hard for any machine. It might be worth the money or not, taking a gamble but if you think it will work go for it, Lidl should have a good return policy and you can check on that with reviews on internet.

I don't know why everyone is dying and fighting each other to buy this mixer. The queue is so long at Aldi that all are out of stock in the first 10 mins they put on shelf. what is the big deal? I went today and looked in all local lidle none is left. I'm getting so curious to find out why this product is attracting so much fuss and I want to buy one to find out why.

Useless review, you are judging the machine based on what you imagine will happen, you haven't even tried it for real.
