  • The soon-to-be Showtime drama series (fingers crossed) The President Is Missing has cast the Emmy and Golden Globe nominee David Oyelowo (Selma) in the lead role for the pilot. The project is currently in pre-production with the pilot expected to start shooting in 2020. If the pilot wows Showtime executives, then we probably have a show. Just in time for the upcoming U.S. presidential election, perhaps.
The President Is Missing is based on the novel by President Bill Clinton and author James Patterson. Now, if you didn’t know that No. 42, is a novelist, with some help, of course, now you know.
