Wow loved this! For what I assume was a production with pretty limited budget, its very well done! And very well written, with the setup that one of the 4 could die at beginning! It kept me speculating on who would die, as you built up to the murder/suicide. Keep experimenting and doing all kinds of stuff. My favourite youtuber (Hbomberguy) also does all kinds of unrelated content and part of why his content rocks is exactly because he doesn't let himself be put in a box and talks on anything and everything he is passionate about. It makes for videos that have this unmistakable personal touch that you can only get from his channel. If you keep experimenting like this and trying all kinds of things you're interested in, the videos will be way more engaging to the average viewer, than if it was content that they could get on any other channel. So yeah, well done! And looking forward to the next one no matter what you have planned!
I am a very conservative person and found this video to be well written and relatively even handed given the subject matter. Oh, and Reagan was the GOAT. Thanks!
No mention of the worldwide impact of the ‘Imprimis’ newsletter. This ‘boring’ school probably could use another short documentary touching on ‘no federal funding’. Kudos for taking a balanced-view approach to this scandal. And I like the narrators voice. Good job.
There was a pillow at the scene of Lissa's death. The gun was fired through a pillow into her head. Why was this left out? Was it not in the report? Female suicide victims rarely shoot them selves in the head. A pillow would only be needed to muffle the sound of the gunshot which wouldnt be something a suicidal person would care about or do. How convenient that Ivy went shooting afterwards with a witness. This whole case stinks. But screams loudly at the incompetance of Hillsdale City Police. I only know this because i was one of them. There was nothing conservative about that group either....but thats another movie.
The human condition vs. the soul mission is ever the challenge. I am not entertained or amused by the "production" or talent of the video, just humbled by the underlying tragedy of the relatable events. To espouse and proselytize one thing...and live quite another creates unsustainable conflict.

Obviously, we all have "human flaws." But when one cozies up to the holier-than-thou evangelicals who want to impose a "Christian" theocracy, maybe don't do things that go against Christian values, such as espousing a "greed is good" philosophy (although "prosperity gospel" types are obviously fine with that) and not being able to keep it in one's pants (especially if it's one's daughter-in-law).

a 20 year affair? probably not. if the old man was a noted sexaholic then maybe they did get together a few times. if the son was having his own affair what were the details of that or them? if the girl who died thought she was owed something for all her hard work and thought she would lose it all after George resigned it makes sense that she would be in panic mode, especially if she feared that her husband would eventually leave her. too much info that will never be known. poor police work is very questionable. to me, that's the worst part of this story. the way this guy tells this story the police were not that concerned to determine whether it was murder or suicide. I can't imagine that was the case and because of that I find this video very lacking and questionable.
That line was said from the viewpoint of the conservatives the video covers and not from the people making it. They thought hillsdale college would be their answer to a left wing dominance at colleges that they perceived. Thats why the video uses the word alleged, as its their viewpoint and not a proven fact. Also the conservatives aren‘t exactly wrong on this one? Don‘t get me wrong most college attendees are normal everyday people. And conservatives also attend college obviously. But it is a proven statistical fact, that the higher your education goes, the more likely you are to lean left. Its a big reason why conservative politicians (not their voters) don‘t like the idea of free quality education. It would cost them votes.
