Just wanted to thank you all for the support, moments and days of surf exploration with my wife have been the super special to me, and meeting new surfers in new locations becoming friends and sharing mysto sessions like this are what its all about and have become what i look for in my surf life! Thank you all for the continued support and subscribing and just being an epic part of the surf community!
Beautiful video, and big kudos on the brave music choice which adds magic to the visual beauty -- the isolation, the land/seascape, and the dramatic slab/surfing. I hope more surf videographers take notice. Well done!
Weird but this is kinda how the rights are at hefty Black's sometimes... (north peak) Whole new seascape and surf spot(s) there after the gnarly landslide/groundswell-bulging event! Kinda like the islands but with clay instead of lava! Ehhhh! 👆🔥🔥
@Nathan Florence thank you for these videos. I’ve never surfed in my life. In fact I have a lifelong illness and have been bedridden for the last 17 years. Through randomly finding your videos I’ve become entranced by surfing. I’ve watched loads of surfing videos now but yours remain my favourite. The combination of the beauty of the ocean wherever you may be (I live in Northern England and seeing Scotland here is stunning) and your relationship with it; your skill and talent and the sense of physical freedom and movement that I get from watching you means a lot to me. I hope your back heals soon. Thanks again.
@@Amy75652 I wish you all the best in your fight against your illness Amy. Surfing is a very raw, emotive pursuit. You don't have to be able to do it yourself to appreciate it's romance.
I love that you are representing incredible surfing throughout the world with the kindness and passion to be respected. You are a great ambassador for how surfers should treat each other. It is just a bonus that you are also the most diversely talented surfer. Thank you for sharing your quests. You had an incredible year before you broke your back. Sorry you missed the Eddie. Be well soon brother!!!
Not to neg but.....Camaraderie comes easy in heavy waves...harder to find mutual respect and brotherhood in a 4ft barrelling beachie, with everyone's fangs out...
Yeah they keep tweaking the engineering behind these wave pools and they just keep getting better and better. Some people say it strips surfing of its soul but to me surfing is surfing.
I had to watch on mute once the bagpipe came in. I have a BM in Music but I can only appreciate and listen to about 30 seconds of bagpipe before I’m out lol
The soundtrack made it magical!!! Of course, my family name is Robertson so maybe that’s why. The only issue I have with this video is that it wasn’t long enough. 🤙🏽
you've single handedly promoted the sottish surf scene more than the entire tourist industry has in the last 20 yrs ,, AWESOME STUFF YOU"RE AMAZING !!!
I collect plastic debris from shorelines. I pick up mostly old flip flops, and also discarded broken surf boards, and outerwear suits. Please keep your space clean..
At the tender age of 50 and old pioneer surfer finding new spots, I admire your work. You got charm and guts, well done Nathan, you are on the right path and videos entertaining. Good music, editing and love the different camera views. Cheers and keep going
I always appreciate the positivity. The guy speaking about being amazed that you paddled out at his local, then your other half encouraging him to get out there warmed me up a bit for some reason. I bet those locals surfing stepped up a notch or two with that session. Cheers from a cold UK! And heal quick!
The pipes the pipes are calling! Bagpipes and wet pipes. Freezing cold wet pipes at that! I'm stoked for you my brother, that you have someone to share these adventures with and warm you up when you're done. It will be the best ride you've ever had! Hold on tight for as long as you can. 😎
Such a great vid- the music really adds to it and so cool that two local chargers came out to share the vibe- been following your adventures for a while- Godspeed
GREAT video Nathan - on of my favorites so far ! Outstanding music and great waves. I have seen several other vlogs of this spot but I think you caught it the best of them all. Keep the stoke and stay safe out there ! Hope you are healing well man.
The waves look like the cartoon waves I drew on the desk in my Highschool ! I know how you catch those slabby ledges .........your cojones are acting as floatation devices ! Sick edit and footage ! Your POV water shots are legendary ! Thanks !
Amazing wave, beautiful place. You inspired those locals to push their limits...and they did it! It will probably be a more commonly surfed spot after your visit.
I've wanted to go to Scotland for a long time, then my wife peeps the waterfall at the end of the vlog, and now she's searching air bnb's. Mahalo young brother!
Awesome as usual, i watch your vids with my morning coffee before i head off to Polzeath , i will never get anywhere near the wave size i see in the vids but i still get that feeling,
You're doing the right thing and like I said setting a good example for everybody especially young people always enjoy your videos thank you very much and howdy from the south coast
I found this spot by, finding the boat that went past and using AIS tracked its location near the time that this video was released. I then looked around for wind farms in that area and found the exact one in this video. and I matched up the buildings from the POV shots to the ones in my google earth screenshots.
A Dream sequence in every sense of the word. Surf adventures lead the wandering soul to a completely new and inspired place. These songs here set the tone for the timeless and incomparable.
mmmm... yeah 5x crazier in real life, whooping big heaves of water, man friday night in South OZ watching this .. awesome, love the pipes , reminds me of a time i paddled out into water off Kangroo Island, had this song in my mind . . . u might like it . . . (We were Soldiers-Sgt.MacKenzie) on RUclips . . . Peace. Thanks Nate
Your dedication to doing what you love is impressive. No joke. If only I'd grown up surfing in my genetic home of Ireland. I might have frostbite instead of skin cancer! Or cirrhosis of the liver🙃😄

I can’t believe they use those big fans to create that sick wave. A+ engineering
Yeah did you see they lady climb up and turn it on. Fast take off, grunty.
Yeah they keep tweaking the engineering behind these wave pools and they just keep getting better and better. Some people say it strips surfing of its soul but to me surfing is surfing.
The fans are to get the offshore wind.
hahaha this comment - Brilliant
So sad to see those useless wind turbines uck up an otherwise dreamy view from the inside 😢
Smooth, beautiful waves. The music made this video perfect! The surfing was well done, too!

Was dancing in my office chair to the music. Makes me want to bring my Irish flute back out and start playing
The production on these surfer channels is becoming superb. Rivals anything on TV.

Epic footage mate. Loving the fact that a local goofy footer was having a red hot go on what is truly a frigging gnarly right hander…

Wonderful scenery, powerful (cold) ocean, appropriate music and no talking. Perfect.

All alone on a killer slab thousands of miles from the normal spots.... surfing and footage was absolutely epic!🤙🤙🤙
sick! and your wife encouraging whoever was there to go sit out there
Wow beautiful - I really enjoyed this video, especially the end scenery.

About as far removed as one could get from Hawaii but there is beauty to be found in most any land/seascape. Beautiful Scotland!

Down home , I like how you highlighted the commercial fishing boat surfing and Commercial Fishing is the way totally stoked on this one
Chargers! Hard core stuff. Great clip keep ‘‘em coming!

Dang that wave looks sooo mental. I love predictable reef breaks vs. sand bottom. Super sick Nate
Loved every second. When I was a young man I would have launched off of those rocks with the same gusto.
Hats off to those locals. Well done surfers.

That slab looked like it would be better suited for us guys who ride sponges, I like the bag pipes it set the feel for the video.
You're right and there is a very tight nit sponge community over there.
