I just used whatever I had on hand already. You can use any light color cookies.

nice work. How far in advance can you frost your cake with whipped cream? Do you ice it on the day it is served or can it be done one day ahead? Thanks.

You can frost your cake from 1-2 days ahead, but just keep it in the refrigerator or fridge until you want to serve it.😁
