Hello, I’m just wondering doesn’t the whip cream melt? Every time I make my cake from whip cream it usually just have to be stored in the fridge until before eaten and doesn’t taste nice if it’s left at room temp for too long
Hello, the whipped cream I use is very stable and doesn't melt as long as its kept to room temperature. I have video where I talk about the different creams I use. Go check it out😊

@@eva_enns_17 you used fondant flower on your cupcakes, when I used fondant flower on whipped cream my fondant leak the color and flower got very soggy what do you think I did wrong?
Did you store the cake in an airtight container or in the refrigerator? If you need to store the cake in the refrigerator I would wait to add the fondant flowers until Im about to serve or deliver the cake.
Beautiful! I noticed that the cake layers seemed to be two different flavors. Was it just my eyes playing tricks on me, or did you pour one flavor batter on top of another before baking them? After decorating cakes for 40+ years, I'm going to feel stupid if you did, for not thinking of that myself. ;-)

Actually no this was just one flavor cake. It's probably the lighting that makes it look like different flavors🤷♀️ But yes that is a great idea😁

I did not. If you deliver a higher cake you will difinetily want to insert a center dowel though.
How far in advance do you assemble the wedding cake?
For this one I believe I stacked the cake the day before but the flowers were added at the reception place just a few hours before the reception.

What did you use as cake filling? Lemon curd or custard?
I used pecan and cappuccino pudding. One of the layers had pecan pudding in between and the other one cappuccino😋

I used about 11 cups of cream for the cupcakes and 2 cups for the cake😄
