    @Matjo7588dk 2 года назад +11

    I like to say people that loves to listen ( Actually listen ) to music, loves Metal.
    Because metal is talent. there is layer after layer on every instrument.
    People in a good metal band can play any song they hear, but if you take someone from some random pop band, they would not be able to play many of these things from a metal band.
    The music is just so much more, there is so much to it, and often the lyrics have deep meaning connected to the music.
    People that does not like metal are those that vibe to music, but do not really listen.
    They don't really care for music, they can enjoy it, it can be important. but only as something to vibe to.
    They don't actually care about the music it self, but just the feeling they get when they hear it.
    And you have to care about music to care for metal.
    At least that is what I think.

Haven't gone far into their back catalog, but with that change, that extra spice and Wills unrelenting vocal prowess this band is one of the coolest bands to come out of Deathcore in a while (Slaughter too). I don't really like this song, but I absolutely love parts of it. His guttural vocals are incredible, and the strings are very well incorporated.

    I am even newer at the harsh vocals than you are, only a couple months..but like you I think Lorna Shore is something special. I hope Will Ramos does a one take of this. I love his one takes, as they are untouched and you can both hear and see how effortlessly he does all this, without much post processing of his voice nor the layered vocals their studio takes often have. It's impressive what the guy can do without any editing.

    Yes, 100% agree with you on vocals like this! But man, Lorna Shore has me shivering. Literally don’t know what to do or think and feel when listening to them, and only they can pull it off! Definitely give this song a 9.5/10. I just really hate how I don’t know what he’s saying, even tho he KILLS it.

    I find what really helps, this music is also way heavier than the metal i normally listen to, is to check out the lyrics. I find being able understand the story being told, especially in these death metal bands(super epic stories), really increases my appreciation for this kind of music. Like in this case, Icarus eating the sun holy shit thats so fucking epic.
