I have a vivo. Almost 7 years. I have it since 16500km. Only thing I have done is my services an changed brakes. 1.4 na. Slow but light on fuel. Nice car. Don't think I'd ever sell. It.
My late sister’s vivo is on 247k now, only major change was a gearbox change because basadi and zero patience 😂 but other than that? No issues at all, still running. It’s the 1.6 trendline sedan.
I have 2008 VW Golf MK5 clocking 300K soon. Replaced engine last year n hv more problem. Honestly can't part ways with my first car. I'm scared can't sell it. 1st love is the deepest...❤
Polo Vivo 1.6 Auto VS Suzuki Baleno GL 1.5 Auto (quick comparison) Helped my cousin with some "budget" car shopping the other day (she only has an automatic drivers license, hence the auto models) Preferably a new car smell, budgeting at the 250K mark. She was set on the Polo Vivo, but the only nice Polo you get in that price range drove from CPT to JHB 30 times by 30 different people. Both the Polo & Baleno engines produce 77kw power, nice! The Suzuki, however, had rather a lot more bang for buck EVEN though its the ENTRY level model, some standard features include - reverse camera - parking sensors - cruise control - front AND rear electric windows - stitched steering wheel (what a bonus!) - 5 year 200 000kms warranty (Polo 3 year 120 000kms) All in, we got the Baleno for 265K on the road. You save a whopping +- 50K compared to the Polo 1.6 Auto (300K +) Ps. The only cons on the ENTRY LEVEL "GL" Baleno is the wheel caps, but you can find a decent set of aftermarket rims for around 5K - 8K (don't buy from Suzuki directly as they quoted 25K+ for their upgraded rims) The infotainment system is not the best , BUT you can always opt for the top range GLX model, with a massive touch screen / 360° camera, keyless entry + 6 AIRBAGS!!! Still, it stays cheaper than the Polo + you might save on your car insurance 2cents.
The way the the suitcase rolled in 😂 Volkswagen is getting rediculous with their pricing, this already seems like lower then base model spec but it has added features 😮 so what I love, this vivo is Manuel a no fuss/NA engine which is always a plus. thank you once again for a fully detailed review👌 loving the dual view
With the armrest directly situated on top of the handbrake, when driving u keep both hands on the steering wheel, u can only use armrest when car is not in motion. My take. Not too bad though
Nice video and good to see Niyaaz on the channel, but price for engine specs u get in a mk1 1.6i doesnt seem worth it. interior also doesnt seem worth it,
Ok im catching the pattern here now...new hairstyle every video what an emotional Rollercoaster... i just cant believe they keep selling this shape and people just keep buying it when the small hatch market has moved on that wind up window is just a smack in the face to the buyer really. I like how honest you guys were about how this car makes you feel.
🤣 Sorry VW, The Chinese and Japanese are taking over 🤣 Cheaper and more added luxuries... We all had VWs along the line, but sorry neh. Julle bly net duur 💰
I understand that VW has to cost cuts for the vivo to be cheaper than a standard polo, but a 10 year old ugly toyota etios has power mirrors and windows! They also have cheek to start offering turbos and led headlights, rain sensing wipers etc on the vivo making it 300k+ but its not even possible to equip decades old safety features like side airbags! Don't forget the awful warranty and lack of standard service plan going up to even the 350k turbo model. The ONLY selling point of these vivos is that they drive very well due to being a recycled polo, but reliable brand name? That factor is questionable these days. It says a lot that a baleno is so much more value and isn't even built "local is lekker" like this car.
How does this compare to the other entry levels? IMO polo is horrible compared to the ayga, swift and baleno but more expensive. I hate it when a rental company gives me a Polo.
1:26 that "park assist pack" in my opinion should have been a standard feature, why pay R6300 to get that where most cars gets them as standard. The Suzuki Baleno is the better option than the Polo Vivo and that car will put this Vivo to shame when it comes to features.

@@lesediseemela9856 I have just broke the 100000km mark lol. My condolences about your sister. Safe travels.

The back cup holder u hv to push it all the way down for stability...

The vw car rides much more comfortably, especially for those who do long distance. They are overpriced though
Every person that has that arm rest in their polo I'm sure they have sworn it atleast once😂
My Polo Vivo shoes a Red light written EPC & slows down the power
Check spark plugs
👍👍👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️
VW can keep it

Vw brand is so deep routed in our mind. Think of a charming cheating partner syndrome lol.

Tuesday we reviewing the new i10 sedan, so going to be interesting to see.
Are you saying you'd rather take the Agya over this car? 😅 I know we're angry at vw, but let's give them some credit
Whoever still pays the excessive price for this car in 2023 needs a psych eval.

VW charge extra for EVERYTHING,
😂😂I own a highline. Very interesting small car. I love it shame
Ah liberebil once upon a time.
Change is a good thing ❤️
Everything is an extra at vw. Annoying.. and the wind up windows at the back nmat that price no
VW is lost, they must keep their cars.
VW is boring 😮😮 i will rely on other brand😅😅😅
