Navier's Electric Flying Boat

- Navier, an Alameda, CA based startup, is building much more than flying electric boats. This ultra-efficient way to move people & goods on the water promises to transform our coastal cities at scale. Narrated by Navier CEO/Founder Sampriti Bhattacharyya & Gali Russell, this masterpiece video shot & edited by Arash Malek tells the visionary story of Navier's mission to build America's next great maritime company. Turning our waterways into highways promises to unlock the potential in our coastal cities. I'm a huge believer in Navier, and it is one of my VC firm HyperGuap's biggest investments. Huge shoutout to Sam, Sampriti, Arash for being awesome to work with and Ryan (Kilowatts) for the Cybertruck.

Things to point out
1) clean and sustainable energy
2) the base design reduces the energy lost in thrusting
3) it's safer
Me too💯
lol me too

Incredible video!
thanks bro!!!
The future. From the 1970’s. Well it’s about time.
😊❤ it's funny but I was talking to Frank Costin bring it aerodynamics sort of goes back to the 1920s the theory 😊
@@buzzofftoxicblog791 My father had once a De Soto, 1951. On retrospective, that car was far more aerodynamic than current Ford and Ram pickup trucks.
@@nefrojas I think the aim today is consumption not efficiency 😕
maybe a cruise ship could do this
Soooo.. A copy of Candela? No info on battery pack despite claiming "worlds longest range"? (Compare to Candela, collaborating with Polestar). Any independent confirmation of that range?
The logo at the end was slick, I got a little hype.
Strive Masiyiwa brought me ❤
Super awesome boat, been interested in these hydrofoil things for about a decade when I saw one for the first time. In the movie Cloud Atlas there is a large vessel that does this "trick"...
I'm glad that someone has invested in and revitalized hydrofoil technology it has lingered in my mind since I was 7 watching watching Thunderball with the Discovalente. But the better solution is computer aided Ground Effect flying Boat like Widget Works an electric version.
I dont see any difference between this and "native boats", the fact that its "flying" i think is a little misleading. It may be efficient because of the reduced surface area in contact with water but "flying" is wrong. Its just raised!!!!!
Cybertruck of the seas!
Why isn't navier in the stock market
Here because of Strive!!
love it. sign me up
What a sexy looking boat!
Never forget this dude pumped Tesla
What do you mean
If you mean "pump" like "if you followed Gali´s advice and invested money in Tesla in, say, 2019 you´d have 5-10x your money"? Yeah, he did that. Many are very glad he did that - are you?
Dope vid. Would love to see Navier ride through the Panama Canal. That’d be sick!!
Someone’s getting a boat 😂
Love your videos and insights, but this is just an ad
actually it's the opposite of an ad. i paid out of pocket to produce this video and fly down to the bay and make it happen. wasn't cheap. Navier is at the forefront of commercializing new technologies that can move us faster, smoother & cheaper on the water. in the future, massive potential can be unlocked in coastal cities if this works. this startup is the definition of hyperchange potential. thats why i spent a lot of time & effort to produce this banging video and bring an exclusive/under the radar story to my subscribers first
@@HyperChangeTV Ah that is at least better, but would love some deeper analysis of the company, technology, specs and competition rather than these ad-like videos
@@HyperChangeTVthanks Gali. Genuinely inspiring.
Then comes AI
Its not flying😂
What about tesla
That's a subject not related to this video.
Lmao gali, is this hyperguap investment promotion or acrimoto 2.0 which is it?
Both lol

Towing Navier with Cybertruck - I see what you did there you clever bastards :)

🔥🧡⚡️
Strive's post made me check this out.
Hopefully they partner with Tesla.
Why don't they i stall solar panels ,so the mileage could increase ten fold
They had to put the Cybertruck ahah
Is this a Nikola product? Gali with another arcimoto venture..
It´s up to you to throw money at a venture. You can´t pass blame on anyone but yourself if you invest poorly
Now put on some toroidal propellors and you'll improve your efficiency even more.
Amazing editing love this!
lets goo!!!
You know what the problem with boats with hydrofoils?
Everyone builds boats, then puts hydrofoils on them.
If your building something where 99% of the drag your vehicle will experience will be on a wing, you should be minimizing weight.
Build a circular barge, It will have WAY less material, and therefore weight, for a lower cost, for the same amount of cargo and deck space. And once the hydrofoils bring it out of the water, it will experience WAY less drag, because the hydrofoils are carrying less weight.
And it would cost less because you’re using less material in the first place. It’s not that hard guys.

How many dolphins does this kill? Not joking.
Looks cool - but it needs to be bigger to change the world
