Remember, this Loki wasn't there for Ragnarok. He was taken out of the timeline at the end of the first Avenger's movie, before he was taken back to Asgard to stand trial before Odin. So the scene where he is reading about the destruction of Asgard was him learning that his home was completely destroyed. Very emotional scene when you realize the context.
@@n0bleonline222 I think its more likely that they didn't realize that this version of Loki isn't the one that experienced Ragnarok. They even say in this video "We saw that." "He helped in it." and "Yeah he knows about that." With all of the timeline jumping around that has happened, its very easy to get a bit confused and forget that one important detail.
Just so you know, when they 'reset the timeline', they don't reset it back to an earlier time, they PRUNE the timeline. Meaning, they erase the entire timeline! Billions of people, just basically, 'snapped' out of existence. Pretty brutal, eh?! This show is CRAZY! 🤘🤪🍻
Yes, it can be hard to remember, but this Loki only experienced the first Thor movie and the first Avenger's movie. Not Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, or Avengers: Infinity War. So he did not end up in prison, or lose both of his adoptive parents or fake his own death and take Odin's place.
The Variant jacket was a huge seller when after this episode aired. They where flying off the shelves at Marvel section of the Disney California Adventure theme park each time I went there.
When you finish the first season, do not continue onto the second season. There are lots of movies and shows that happened between the seasons and you will get spoiled on some of the stuff. So after the first season, continue watching all of the other stuff until you get to the point in time where the second season is being released.
@@jestbone89 yes, the first episode. But as to not spoil the name of character in the last episode of the first season, that character appears, and strongly influences other movies. Until the second season is complete, we don’t know what it’s going to spoil. Much, much, much better to hold off and watch it in the same sequence as anybody who has been watching the MCU from the beginning.
Don't worry, they watch in release order, and they will continue to watch in release order. We make sure they watch it in the correct order, not skipping anything or whatever.
@@glenndunhill2258 Black Widow is like Ant Man and Wasp, just a short jump back in time to set up the future. If they released BW before Endgame it would have spoiled something in EG.

I WOULD watch next season right after this one. I rewatched season 1 before watching season 2 and it helped sooo much to understand what was going on. Season 2 holds no punches, it comes fast and unapologetic. Cheers
This is so much fun, I am really enjoying watching you react to this. Fun fact; in norse mythology (I'm from Sweden, this was taught to us in middle school), Loke is genderfluid and the mother of a whole bunch of creatures, like Oden's favorite eight-legged horse Sleipner, the Fenris Wolf that we saw in Thor Ragnarok, the World Serpent that one day will kill Thor, and Hela, the goddess of Death. He is also Oden's foster brother.
I think how they get you with the silhouette is due to the cloak and posture 😆In most shots where she wasn't in fast motion, she was kinda hunched. Dragging that hunter through the time door, looking over the security feed etc. Combined with the cloak it makes her shoulders look wider. Standing straight breaks the illusion. But once you know, you can see that the figure was a bit short and slight. Or my mind is playing games with me lol
Wanted to mention how right-on-the-money you were about mentioning all the Spiders from Across The Spiderverse. When Migeul explains to Miles the spider-verse and shows the whiteish/blue branching thing... just remember that for later in this series ;)
In the comics the female version of Loki, apparently he is gender fluid, is called Lady Loki. In this show she has an actual name which will be revealed later. 😂
Regarding Pompeii notably like 70% of the people in the city got away, so it's kind of a terrible choice for this but it is one baked into out understanding of the event.
@@bramhenry1163 Yes, because it could be either of those. And Pompeii is literally known as an apocalyptic event. And it wasn't just a village, it was EVERYTHING and EVERYONE in the surrounding area. For the people back then, it WAS an apocalyptic event, hence why it is known as it.
When they have the opportunity and a good opening probably, over on Patreon as first as well. But, their enjoyment will be better after the next Spider-Man movie as well.

Loki s2 is out and it a perfect time to revisit the s1
There is another show from just before the MCU/TV shows started to merge called Cloak And Dagger. It highlights RoxxonCorp and what it is all about.
Roxxon is Easter egg’d all throughout the MCU.
For example, Coulson stops at a Roxxon gas station on the way to investigate Thor’s hammer, etc

Lady Loki is a badass fr, she's alot different in the comics, but i do like the TV version aswell

My only issue with the Pompei part is that it only destroyed Pompei so it wasn’t an extinction level event.
