Several ASUN-WAC schools moved up from Division II to D-I FCS within the past five years: North Alabama, Abilene Christian, Utah Tech (formerly Dixie State) and Tarleton State. North Alabama's stadium hosted the NCAA Division II national championships for many years before it was moved to Sporting KC's stadium in Kansas City, Kansas and, more recently, to McKinney, Texas. Also, Tarleton's Memorial Stadium renovations were completed in late October.
The old Abilene Christian stadium was a track-only facility. The ACU football team played at a high school facility, Shotwell Stadium. Some of these stadiums are shared with high schools, like Tarleton, Austin Peay and North Alabama.
Utah Tech student here, thanks for reviewing our shitty little stadium XD. The recent renovations have made it a lot nicer, the main stand especially has a cool pressbox and really neat exterior facade, but Google maps needs to update itself first so you can see it haha.
Tarleton is not keeping there track and new stands are already built.also they are building a new 100 million dollar convention center for basketball and concerts
Nice tourism piece for Greater Zion 😂 One piece not shown in the video is the recently completed Press Box with VIP and louge seating. They also added new locker rooms, training facilities, etc.
Another unique feature of UCA’s stadium is that the luxury suites are not connected to the stadium itself, but rather located on top of a residential hall located next to the stadium.
I’ve always liked your channel. I’ve been hoping for a long time that you would do a video of the WAC. As a Utah Tech fan, I’m underwhelmed. You didn’t even show their new press box on the home side. Half of the video shows what their stadium looked like over a decade ago. Tarleton States end zone expansion was complete in October, and that wasn’t shown. I completely get that it’s the WAC and isn’t going to get as many views but dang dude.
The football stadiums at Eastern Kentucky, Western Kentucky, and Murray State were all built within a few years of each other and had basically the same design. They originally had a large grandstand on only one side that included classrooms and facilities for Phys. Ed classes to justify the expense of construction. The stadium at Western Kentucky when built was officially known as Academic Athletic Building #2 (with E. A. Diddle Arena being Academic Athletic Building #1).
Stephen F Austin used to be some bad ass boys back in the day. I grew up near Georgia Southern GSU or during the 80’s GSC used to play against SFA in the D-1AA playoffs almost every season. That’s when the old “Bald Eagle” Erk Russell used to coach Georgia Southern. He was treated like Paul “Bear” Bryant in Statesboro and Savannah. Russell was smart, bring good football to the Coastal Empire and get treated like GOD lol 😂. I attended UF in Gainesville then attended graduate school at Savannah State GO GATORS🐊 AND GO TIGERS 🐅
Go Colonels! I had many classes in Roy Kidd Stadium and spent many Saturday nights on The Hill! Soon they’ll upgrade the classroom side and make it a proper stadium since that side is older and kind of falling apart, lol
As an EKU grad and someone who grew up in Richmond, I enjoyed seeing Roy Kidd Stadium in this video. Had many classes in the health science building across from the fitness building in the Hill end zone.
Can you do Mexican Baseball Stadiums? there are some awesome stadiums for baseball, specially for the Liga Mexicana del Pacífico. Also we're still in time for the final, I don't know how long do the videos take to make
Abilene Christian should consider doing an end zone expansion like Texas and Texas Tech, on a much smaller scale of course. Stadium looks great tho, anything they do to it believe it will be first class
I never heard of the Atlantic Sun 🌞 ☀️ 🌤 🌅 ♌️ 😕 Conference"?? Still though 🤔 😳 😕 👀 😬 😅 some of these teams in this conference can still"(BEAT THE MIAMI HURRICANES FOOTBALL TEAM)"?!!?😳 🤔 😬 😐 🤣 🙄 💯💢💥💫🌋🔥☄️⚡️👍👌🤌✌️👊🤜🤛👏🤝🙌
Most of those stadiums will be needing some upgrades if they want to host FBS football, but a few, like Wildcat Stadium, already look great

Entirely unbiased opinion of best moment in Braly's history ruclips.net/video/oQcBH2GWXGU/видео.html
I've been to 4 of the stadiums in this video (Tarleton, SFA, Abilene Christian, and Central Arkansas). All purple teams now that I think about it.

Ive toured it, the locker room is very nice. Glad they redid a lot of the stuff
Axe’em Jacks! Glad to finally see Homer Bryce Stadium on here! Can’t wait to see the FBS renovations in the future and see the Lumberjacks grow!
I like your taste! Probably being named Austin has something to do with it perhaps? Axe ‘ Em!
Tarleton’s Memorial Stadium got rid of their track before the 2022 season
Tarleton is not keeping there track and new stands are already built.also they are building a new 100 million dollar convention center for basketball and concerts

Shotwell used to be where the Wildcats played and is currently under renovation for the high schools. It used to be bowl stadium as well
Abilene Christian's stadium is really cool, the rest need some renovations and expansions.
I think the one stadium that has escaped from being mentioned after all this time is Jacksonville State's Burgess-Snow Field
Couldn’t that be because y’all are moving up? Sam Houston State wasn’t on here either
Dude those ancient Greek temples and ancient Egyptian obelisks are f*cking rad man

WCC basketball will get some interesting buildings!

Watch a game on Hanger Field at Roy Kidd Stadium on top of the Begley Building

I guess I won't ever see my beloved Lamar Univ. on here with it's scenic Umphrey Stadium with THE largest basketball arena for a D1AA I've seen. Lol
Can you do Mexican Baseball Stadiums? there are some awesome stadiums for baseball, specially for the Liga Mexicana del Pacífico.
Also we're still in time for the final, I don't know how long do the videos take to make
Very good!
Abilene Christian should consider doing an end zone expansion like Texas and Texas Tech, on a much smaller scale of course. Stadium looks great tho, anything they do to it believe it will be first class
Braly Stadium is prounounced "Braw-Lee"
You should do ASUN basketball arenas next please,I’m subbed!

They’ve removed the track from Tarleton State’s stadium
hey, how do you create flyover shots of places on google earth? do you use google earth studio?
UCA also has a gray basketball court
Have you done FBS independent yet? I can't remember. I just don't recall Liberty, NotreDame, or NMSU
Dude, you gotta go back to the older music!!! like the music at the end of the vid. Thanks, big fan of your videos. 🤘🔥💣
Will do.
When you doing wac basketball arenas? Been waiting
Can you do NASCAR 2023 season tracks?
Do the A 10 basketball arena
Zion is also a bank here in Utah!
Please do an updated Conference USA
The one named Eccles seems to not get why you would call a stadium a collosseum.
Roy Kidd Stadium video is old. Visitor side has a permanent structure now, not metal bleachers.
WAC Arenas?
I don't see these schools going FBS
Tom Braly needs a major upgrade.
Do MAC football it’s like bowling green state and Toledo central Michigan
For basketball
How does he sounds like the most Midwesterner brit saying Utah.
Atlantic 10 baskeball arenas when?
Idk
It will be the next basketball video. Maybe next week.
My only issue with these stadiums these days is, how come NO ONE plays on natural grass anymore?
Can’t complain about a video with a Bill Lee joke.
Kennesaw State and Sam Houston State would not be included in this move.
The funky color turf fields need to go. They're a fad that's ran it's 15 minutes.
Tarleton got rid of the track
I’d take Bill Lee as governor any day
Absolutely not
Abilene Christian's stadium is a dump. Went to a H.S. playoff game there and it was very basic, bare bones.
Troll status 3/10.
