Attack on Titan is so good. Like just straight to the point but still long enough and so well written that you can rewatch it after a few months. And even after watching it a few times you will always find new details.
I have a time loop theory, but instead it's not necessarily a loop that eren is stock in, when eren wakes up under that tree in season one and is crying, it's because in his past attempts/life, he failed and the rumbling still happened anyway, he tried and tried but to no avail, he even tried the one where he ends up with mikasa and they live his remaining 4 years together, he probably tried to not get his mom eaten but still the rumbling happens since that's what eren tells armin when armin remembers his memories, every time he woke up under that tree was because mikasa killed him and he cried seeing as he failed, then whenever he kisses historia's hand, he remembers it all, his attempts and that's why when Sasha died and he asks Connie what her last words were and they were still meat as he had seen over and over, he laughed, knowing he was fucked as hell and was destined to die and give mikasa the opportunity to make the choice to kill him which ymir will witness and realise that she can also let go of her retarted mental obsession love on king fritz like mikasa and then decide to end the titan powers for good of her own will
Same conclusion, even the part were Eren symbolized as a bird, wraps the scarf around misaka, before he flies away, finally free from all shackles to explore the world.
Theres like a whole thing on why mikasa was chosen, its because she loved eren the same way ymir loved king fritz, they both shared the same pain and agony of not being noticed by the person they loved, basically ymir like understood the fact that she should let go of her love for the king just like mikasa killed eren
Ymir knew better than all of us about the weight of Mikasa's decision to kill Eren. Not simply having to do it for the good of everyone, not simply to free him from the burden of his destiny, but doing all of that knowing she might grieve for him for all her life. It was never just having to let go, it was knowing the pain that comes after
Another one to point out is the Final Opening of AOT/SNK "The Last Titan" in the last line, you can hear Armin saying "and so... He eradicated the giants from this world ".
I love how everyone called Armin useless but in the end he was "the one who will save the humanity" .. Those were Eren's words when he was begging Levi to save him
Plot twist - Armin just made up that story of AOT so that he could use it and unite people against fascism in Paradis Island. Eren or Titans never existed at all.
@@samarjeetbhonsle6000”what? The guy whose solution to literally every problem is murder and has been killing since he was 8 years old decides that the best solution for world peace is to kill everyone who could possibly threaten his loved ones? That is just ridiculously out of character”
People don’t also realize that the story literally loops back around. After we see paridas turn towards fascism we then see the war that takes place afterwards and the nuclear bombing of the capital of the paridas nation. Then we see a time jump then we see someone go right back to the tree just like how we see Ymir go to the tree the first time and just like that a new founder titan is born.
There's potential that fragments of the creature survived symbolized by the same-looking tree. The age of titans could begin anew and this time with a different mechanic than before like permanent titan powers without the 25-year limit, and being able to use titan powers freely in human form via full or partial transformation due to a special mutation of the titan genes.
I thought it was that he was gonna originally be the last survivor out of everyone then isayama changed the plot as it wasnt very fitting. Then i assume that he changed the ending of season 4 so that armin being the narrator made a lot more sense
thats interesting, although i dont know much of whether he changed the plot that drastically. He did confirm that Armin was always the narrator (even in the manga), and now we know why!
@-Huchiko bro said "floch's importance">>>> Let me tell you without armin Paradise would have been extermined Armin's importance>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Armin developement from a crybaby to a smart commander of scouts regiment Floch feats are tiny compared to armin Like floch said in s3 he'z ezly replaceable
Ive always thought it was strange he was narrating for so long (had a sad pitch in his voice) as if Eren was never gonna make it. And that Armin would make it and tell stories to others as his grandfather did for him, how he did for Eren fueling his dream. (Obviously i didnt know he really would, just a feeling. The foreshadowing is deep in AOT)
Eren(it's like he was preprogrammed to do that because of the nature of the Attack Titan. The Attack Titan is likely born from Ymir's inherent desire for freedom, which is why it has such an OP abstract ability compared to others)did all that so Mikasa can finally make the hard choice of killing him which Ymir herself couldn't do to king Fritz despite the titan powers because she was slave to her love for him.
This means their ship did not get attacked on the way there and thus makes it all the more likely that jean and mikasa could have actually started a family
What do you mean makes it more likely, they started a family no matter what others say, mikasa got married again and had a kid. Why do people feel she couldn't move on from eren, she loved him and always will but she also loved Jean later seeing as they got married and had a kid
theres actually a panel in the manga that clearly shows jean and mikasa together! although they changed it in the anime to make it a little more ambiguous, but you can still tell who it is in some frames
@@Jeetsukii it's real crazy how far eremika goes to disprove this fact. The man kneeling behind mikasa at erens grave with her child is Jean because it's his hair pattern and he's taller than mikasa. Then there's the ring when she's holding flowers as she dies in the anime. Then, eremika go as far as to say that she didn't have a child since she didn't pass down the sign, tf, it's a birth mark for fucks sake, her kid will have the mark and so will she
If anyone's wondering why SnK was named AoT instead of "The attack titan", it's not a mistranslation, shingeki no kyojin means "the attacking/advancing giants" as well as "The attack titan". It's a smart move from Isayama as in Japanese the phrase has two meanings but up until season 3, "Attack on Titan" was what every fan in Japan mutually interpreted since "The attack titan" made no sense before season 3 as it didn't exist yet
Brooo when you said the story of the attack titan the title of the show totally clicked and made sense. The sensation was so intense that I got fuckin tingles
@@Jeetsukii just look at the last scene. Humanity dies in a nuclear war over a race war basically. Between the decedents of survivors from the rest of the world vs decedents of paradise. He eren was stuck in a time loop trying to prevent humanities destruction. Trying and failing forever. In order to save humanity he needed to basically restart it with just paradise. Not saying it was the best thing to do but it would’ve been the only way to prevent basically a nuclear apocalypse and the restarting of titans in the future through the tree of life.
I really think about levi thought his subordinate like soldiers died fight with against the titan and the soliders died for hope their paradise island free from titan but actually the world is actually enemy they knew but why Levi saved them I didn't understand paradise people well suffer so many things they didn't even imagine.
The anime itself showed that they managed to obtain peace for as long as they lived. That war that showed up near the end probably had nothing to do with Eldians anymore, after all there was no difference between them and other races
i guess most things he didnt witnessed was told from Reiner/Annie/Pieck (all the things in Marley) and from Eren when they were in the paths (the time with zeke in the paths and Ymir story)
The way I think of Armins narration is how up until the fourth season we saw Erin as the protagonist or “good guy” but once Armin stops being the narrator he isn’t telling a story anymore, and we see the world of AoT as it really.
I think to those arguing that Eren is the main character of SNK is both right and incorrect. Right because yes, it revolves around Eren, but it revolves around Mikasa just as much as him. But what Eren said in the end (SPOILER!!!!) just solidified the fact that this wouldn’t have happened if Ymir didn’t wait 2,000 years for a MIKASA ACKERMAN. Grisha said yes, Eren understood Ymir’s plight, but she waited all those years for ONE girl. Miniscule human being: Mikasa. And she was giving her those headaches because she wanted to get into her mind to finish her agony. It’s Mikasa’s story. She was the chosen one and Eren himself said it and he doesn’t understand why. Armin HIMSELF, the narrator, was confused WHY it was her and not Eren. If you think it that way, Eren was more of the catalyst/inciting incident/plot driver of the story and its written in how he sees it unfolds, Armin narrates the story as it unfolds through third person, Ymir IS the author, and Mikasa the main character. Though people are free to have an opinion, it’s no doubt that Mikasa is silent main character. It was her character development from learning how to fight and come into terms with her decision that ended everything in that rumbling. That’s main character shit, tbh and not just a tragic “I have to kill my lover” trope.
cool take! id say i think AoT is written in a way that allows audiences to choose who they believe to be the main character instead of saying it outright, and thats what makes it so unique. Who resonated with them the most, who was the most compelling character, wasnt universal. For some its eren, for others its armin or mikasa, but leaving it ambiguous at the end was most likely a deliberate choice so that fans could choose who they wanted to be the main character of the story!
@@Jeetsukii I second that! I’ve watched the anime and only got halfway through the anime so far but it does feel like there’s no “main character” ya know? Yes we know Eren is there, Mikasa is there, and Armin is there but they just don’t function (their story i mean) without each other filling in the gaps and driving the story forward. Though I’d like to believe Mikasa is the main character based from Eren’s words which he revealed to Armin but also like we can argue ultimately that all three are the main characters and there’s no specific character that’s higher than the other!
Armin being the narrator of Attack on Titan is such an amazing touch when you notice it, I imagine he wrote a bunch of history books that become written by Hajime Isayama in our world
He would have gotten a lot of pushback but I was talking about this to my wife this morning. It really kind of made me hate everything about the show and manga. This guy is one of the reasons it would have pushed back. The new Paradis wasn't fascist... In fact it's exactly the opposite 😂😂😂 so someone not taking shit anymore and putting an end to the terror are fascists? Idk about all that. They literally were fighting fascists then the group fought with the actual fascists to take down Paradis's escape and freedom. The whole anime was pointless and the ending was complete garbage. @@Tortuga629Floch himself pretty much admitted that paradis would had a war among themselves after the rumbling during his conversation with azumabito. It could have been peak if they didn’t butcher the last few chapters
Armin always was my favorite character
Whether it’s his intelligence, the underdog bias, or whatever. I figured he was the narrator but I could never figure out why
Imagine when I watched through to see him become the man he is and retell the story we all know
Attaboy Armin
He fought to let fascists invade and take over his home.
plus he’s HOT ASFF in season 4😍
Let invaders win, ruined "peace" achieved all for what?, nukes a town.... Yaaahhh big L

thank you that means alot!!
You are welcome
I am in denial that it’s over atp
same 😭😭😭
I am happy it was lame as fuck
The ending be like "My baby" 😂😂😂😂😂
Attack on Titan is so good. Like just straight to the point but still long enough and so well written that you can rewatch it after a few months. And even after watching it a few times you will always find new details.
Armin becoming the protagonist in season 4 was so lit, he was my favorite character throughout the whole show
sameee hahaha
I thought he was the protagonist all along 😢
@@UlrichPlaysGamesnot sure how u managed to think Armin was the main character over Eren lol
Eren was always the protoganist...❤
Armin and Mikasa too....
@@josephBothis confusion may happen bcz before the rumbling you can see he was moving the plot more than Armin
Attack on Titan the story of the attack titan, oooohhh 😮 didn't notice that
hahah yea the storys very clever its fun to notice these things!
Actually the Japanese name "Shingeki no kyojin" translates as "The Attack Titan" so it was always the story of Eren/Attack Titan.
I have a time loop theory, but instead it's not necessarily a loop that eren is stock in, when eren wakes up under that tree in season one and is crying, it's because in his past attempts/life, he failed and the rumbling still happened anyway, he tried and tried but to no avail, he even tried the one where he ends up with mikasa and they live his remaining 4 years together, he probably tried to not get his mom eaten but still the rumbling happens since that's what eren tells armin when armin remembers his memories, every time he woke up under that tree was because mikasa killed him and he cried seeing as he failed, then whenever he kisses historia's hand, he remembers it all, his attempts and that's why when Sasha died and he asks Connie what her last words were and they were still meat as he had seen over and over, he laughed, knowing he was fucked as hell and was destined to die and give mikasa the opportunity to make the choice to kill him which ymir will witness and realise that she can also let go of her retarted mental obsession love on king fritz like mikasa and then decide to end the titan powers for good of her own will
Wow, man this is a good one.
Wow this actually makes sense unlike the horrible ending the writer wrote for this amazing anime
It was never just having to let go, it was knowing the pain that comes after
Kojipro games audio are always top tier imo
Another one to point out is the Final Opening of AOT/SNK "The Last Titan" in the last line, you can hear Armin saying "and so... He eradicated the giants from this world ".
What episode(s) did this opening play in? I know of the song, but can't seem to find it in any of the eposides.
Imagine if Erwin was chosen at that moment instead of Armin. We wouldn’t have him as the narrator
I love how everyone called Armin useless but in the end he was "the one who will save the humanity" .. Those were Eren's words when he was begging Levi to save him
I love when armin said “so it’s some kinda attack on titan”
Atack on titan was the story about mikasa, from eren's perspective and got story telling by armin😢
Plot twist - Armin just made up that story of AOT so that he could use it and unite people against fascism in Paradis Island. Eren or Titans never existed at all.
Dayum would make more sense then the actual ending lol 😅
@@bbbruh8809 the ending is literally the most realistic outcome. Its not idealistic, nor edgy. And somehow hopeful.
@@samarjeetbhonsle6000”what? The guy whose solution to literally every problem is murder and has been killing since he was 8 years old decides that the best solution for world peace is to kill everyone who could possibly threaten his loved ones? That is just ridiculously out of character”
This is actually genius and idk why, but i always thought that the narrator is Eren💀
In every dub he is idk why it’s different in sub
@@Curlyhairedshikamaru its for this reason explained
Its a story where armin is the narrator
Mikasa is the hero
And Eren is the villain
People don’t also realize that the story literally loops back around. After we see paridas turn towards fascism we then see the war that takes place afterwards and the nuclear bombing of the capital of the paridas nation. Then we see a time jump then we see someone go right back to the tree just like how we see Ymir go to the tree the first time and just like that a new founder titan is born.
Only this time it's a dude not in love with his slave master king. So maybe no 13 year curse this time either.
*13 years of lifetime
i cried like my mother died when i watched the ending
when armin crys while screaming i just couldnt contain myself
i felt that
Even after the ending it won't stop dropping plot twists lol
What are some other crazy details in AOT you know of? Leave em down below!
The story of "The attack titan".. i liked that a lot
hehehe thank you!!
@@Jeetsukii i remember a little while back that a few people said that it was Isayamas original intentions.
And then people who survived attack the paradise island knowing the full story. History repeats itself 😅
P.O.V: Eren
Story: Mikasa
Narrator: Armin
I guess thats why they managed to secure atleast a century of peace, thanks to that story
What the titan actually said was
Titan: SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT, I WANT TO SEE WHAT YOU GOT

Both fmab and aot are crazy having details in history 😊
I swear I get chills every time I learn something about this anime
WTF man! What a masterpiece! 🔥
Armin ever was the true protagonist; most underrated guy
Armin was a traitor that eventually destroyed the Eldians
How about growing up then cheering for fantasy faschists?
@-Huchikokeep meatriding eren and floch
Even tho i like eren
But armin >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>floch
@-Huchiko bro said "floch's importance">>>>
Let me tell you without armin Paradise would have been extermined
Armin's importance>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Armin developement from a crybaby to a smart commander of scouts regiment
Floch feats are tiny compared to armin
Like floch said in s3 he'z ezly replaceable
@-Huchiko floch almost died fighting against cart titan with his team
If armin wasn't there they would have lost 💀
armin being narrator is really similar omv to web novel
Didn’t know AOT had Allies vs Axis going on
the sad thing is, even if they got rid of titans. War would still go on.
Armin tells everyone about the history he went through with his friends from eps1
the voice is always similiar to hange to me, but if its not her, then i was thinking mikasa or armin
Day by day the AOT lore is getting better and better.
@@Kimpa222source?
theres actually a panel in the manga that clearly shows jean and mikasa together! although they changed it in the anime to make it a little more ambiguous, but you can still tell who it is in some frames

The sensation was so intense that I got fuckin tingles
this comment made my day fr i appreciate it 😭😭🙏🙏
Glad to be a fraction of humanity to be able to experience this masterpiece
Honestly the good guys in attack on titan are the bad guys. If eren completed the rumbling, mankind would not have died in nuclear war.
“if we kill all people, then people wouldnt fight each other anymore” PLEASE tell me you see the issue with that line of reasoning 😭
Armin: ...and this was our story. The end!
Me: how did you know about the parts you weren't there for?
Armin: ...
He probably heard from his friends or made up some events for story purpose, you know he's smart
i guess most things he didnt witnessed was told from Reiner/Annie/Pieck (all the things in Marley) and from Eren when they were in the paths (the time with zeke in the paths and Ymir story)
Nice DBZA reference
The way I think of Armins narration is how up until the fourth season we saw Erin as the protagonist or “good guy” but once Armin stops being the narrator he isn’t telling a story anymore, and we see the world of AoT as it really.
"Okay, so I was tied down to a chair and this dude thought I was Historia-"

But if he's the leader of the Paradis breeder, fuck him he's no cousin of mine.
Sadly not we dont ever see him
There is Truly nothing like Attack on titan. Such an amazing piece of art.
I don't think there will be a show this good in 100 years
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu
AOT isn't a anime anymore, ITS A GOD DAMN MASTER PICE! at times I forget its a anime lol 11/10, AOT ON TOP
The true Attack on Titan are the friends we made along the way
I think to those arguing that Eren is the main character of SNK is both right and incorrect.
Armin is the narrator huh !!!
all right !!.. boys

It's crazy how badly isayama fumbled the ending. All he had to do was follow through.
Just like when Indiana Jones was supposed to be getting the arc back and not letting the Nazis get their hands on it but what happened at the end....?
The ending was good tho, wym?
The only good part about the ending is the extra pages that prove Floch right.
@@Tortuga629Floch himself pretty much admitted that paradis would had a war among themselves after the rumbling during his conversation with azumabito.
