I was a big fan of Midnight Oil in the late 80s, especially the Dust & Dirt and Blue Sky Mining albums. I was very interested in Peter Garrett’s activism. Decades later I becalmed friends of a retired elected official in his state that went to school with him.
Man, if you really enjoy these guys, you absolutely have to check them out live. Stand In Line, live from Oils on Water. Another great official video that is amazing is One Country. Very different vibe, but so powerful.

Sure, I get it - defintely their worldwide hit. But I grew up with the Oils in the late 1970s on Sydney's Northern Beaches and there are a spread of songs that I think match or even outdo Beds IMHO - peace ☮
