If I had to choose just 1 publisher, I would pick Image in a heartbeat. Their catalogue is enormous and they have everything for everyone.

Darth Vader run by Charles Soule was very good, if you liked that then you should read Star Wars Crimson Reign and the sequel Star Wars Hidden Empire by Soule.

No/One is odd. I can recommend it, but I can't explain it.
Here's the text from the solicit: "Ten months ago, the Richard Roe murders shocked the city of Pittsburgh. In the months since, the killings have sparked a dangerous political movement, copycat killers, and a masked vigilante who's still determined to hold the powerful accountable. Not a symbol. Not a hero. They could be anyone. They're NO/ONE."
There's a lot going on. You've got investigative reporting, police corruption, double-crosses, political intrigue. The superhero element is kinda in the background, but when he steps up, it's really well done.

Currently collecting Invincible in the library editions so looking forward to eventually reading the whole series. Firepower is already on my list and was glad to see some James Bond, which was something I feel like deserves more collected edition recognition. A recent image comics collected edition I read and enjoyed was Arcade Kings trade paperback vol 01 and would definitely recommend!

Not hating but you went and picked the most mainstream "indie" comics ever from some of the most established and well paid individuals..from the biggest "indie" company in the business.. this isn't indie in the traditional sense. Little to no DIY aspect. Not punk enough!

    • @TheComicBookReport

@@roymakescomics this is a fair critique admittedly I did pick about as mainstream as “indie” can go.
