- Harry's mum Charlotte Charles broke down after today's decision to charge Sacoolas, 42, who is married to a US diplomat.
Sacoolas allegedly collided with 18-year-old Harry's motorbike as she drove for 400 yards on the wrong side of the road after leaving RAF Croughton, Northants., in August.
Sacoolas was granted diplomatic immunity after the crash and flew back to the States.

Two sides to the story. END OFF

Yousef Bhoyroo except, there isn’t. If you actually listened you would know that it is true.
If she had stayed for the trial she would have got a better sentence since it was an accident but because she left the country because her husband a diplomat and choose not to come back she actually made her situation worst.
...but you don't know that she's made her situation worse, do you? That's mere conjecture. Only the results of a trial will determine that.
Make no mistake they will have top lawyers and either get away with it or get a very light punishment.
Turrican60 if you have to be extradited it cost money and she lost her diplomatic annuity. Why would you leave before going to trial especially since it’s a story that been talked in the media and has an negative political effect. Then she would just stay in the USA
That’s a good thing
@Martin Shepherd The US does, per request by the CPS.
@@coopa2002 it's extremely rare and US courts have an extremely high standard for extradition. In addition, when courts are faced with the fact she had immunity they would probably deny extradition. @@saiyedakhtar404 She doesn't have immunity, she only claimed that, since she was off base it doesn't apply, and it's a high profile case with a lot of attention, the UK will give a fair trial and the US knows that, it's still unlikely but it is definitely possible
It doesn't matter who you are or what your position is. You can't kill someone and walk away. She fled the country. InShaAllah she gets sentenced to jail for causing death by dangerous driving.

"Get away with murder"? Wrong. It's only "murder" if a court arrives at that conclusion, and even then it has to be proven to a court's satisfaction that deliberate intent was clear and evident. She's the wife of an intellegence agent, not a diplomat.
If she had just stayed and admitted her mistake she may not have faced a criminal prosecution. Death by dangerous driving can put someone in jail, but if genuine remorse had been shown for this momentary lapse of concentration, then justice would have seen to be done. Now she faces serious charges.
Only thing we don't know tho was this her first time of driving on the wrong side? Did she know herself she kept making this error. If so then she carried on being selfish and arrogant whic cost a young boys life... I'd like to know if there is video footage of her doing this more then once
She would have been charged but received a slightly shorter sentence.
Accidents do happen and as such people do not face prosecution in cases where it is proven to be a genuine accident. Nobody benefits from jail time if it is a genuine accident with genuine remorse. Leaving the country and then dodging every possible opportunity to resolve the situation, further escalating the trauma and grief felt by this poor family - 10 years minimum.
And then for the family to go over again to America and see a picture of ANNE Sacooluce driving behind the wheel of another car makes it even worse I honestly don’t see how anybody could be so heartless especially if they have children of their own In the end we all have to live with our own conscience Accidents do happen but yes a lot of this heartbreak could have been avoided has she shown genuine remorse in the first place My heart goes out to Harry’s family god bless them

This killer claims she accepts full responsibility for "the accident" yet she runs away and hides behind diplomatic amunity, this Government must move heaven and earth to bring this KILLER back to the UK to stand trial, well done this Family for NOT giving up and finding the strength to carry on fighting
Indeed, whilst 14 years for gross negligence resulting in a tragic accident may seem harsh, the fact that she tried to use underhanded methods to circumvent having to face any consequences for her actions speaks volumes about her character (or lack thereof). Damages require adequate reparations regardless of intent.

It can't be considered negligence if she was not fit to drive and was cleared to do so by her handlers and UK authorities. In the end as a diplomat she is subject to that authority before all others, this was a huge mistake allowing her to drive as she clearly wasn't able to manage, but she didn't go there as a tourist, she took a posting as a diplomat and therefore it is the responsibility of her superiors to ensure she is operating within the scope of her abilities.

worse case they wont extradite her she could be tried in her absence and if convicted she would forever have to be careful were she travelled in case she was arrested under an international arrest warrant.
Anne Sacoolas claimed that she was "truly sorry and regrets everything that happened"
ok then Anne, if thats the case then answer us this:
*then why did you run?*
This is so wonderful so glad you were able to keep your promise & I wish you all love & light angel blessings 💚💜🙏🙏🙏
Murder is murder and there should never be any obstacle that stops these people from facing justice. This woman took the life of this young man and left the country hoping she could get away with it and that she would face no consequences, well I'm glad that the law and justice has caught up to her. I hope this woman faces time in prison for what she's done. Absolute coward.
This ISN'T murder - you fool - it's manslaughter, by dangerous driving...
Best of luck getting her here if it was the other way round things would be different, she deserves time in one of our prisons end of
How would things be different?
We would send the person to America to face the charges not hide
@@brianchester4218 even if she was a spy's wife? So there are no circumstances where she would have immunity here?
Why is this Sacoolas, woman being so overly sheltered by the authorities in the US? Its not as if she is high up, or married to someone who can pull lots of strings. It is however a clear case that she killed this poor lad, and I cannot imagine what his family feel, not only losing him, but the sheer horror and stress they have had to endure just to arrive at this point. They do need the justice they so rightly deserve for Harry, and this whole situation with the US; and the way they are shielding this woman, is just so very hard to comprehend, there is something definitely off here, and the question is; why is she is being so highly defended by them, when they know she is Guilty?
If she hadn't fled she would have got a slapped wrist as it was a terrible accident, but to flee and expect to get away with nothing is disgusting. I hope they extradite her and she goes to prison for her cowardice and as for the 'special relationship ' between the UK and US if it was the other way round the Americans would have demanded the extradition. Respect had goodwill to the Dunn family.
I'm a young motorcyclist myself, I ride a Suzuki Bandit 600. Me and my biker friends are shocked that Anne was on the wrong side of the road, then fled the country after hitting Harry. It has made us extremely nervous when riding our bikes. I'm glad justice is finally being served.
Stay safe out there man! 🤘🏻
If I was the president of the US then I'd have her "diplomatic immunity" which they claim she has repealed and have her on the next flight out to Heathrow!
Agh God bless Harry's family it must be a huge relief. I hope they have a warm and loving Christmas what a great family x
Love and prayers sent to this family.
Americans 🙄
She will never be extradited this is an empty gesture
Rightly so. Blessings to this family, although nothing will replace their loved one.
Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness shall be filled.
Charged, but unless America send her over (which they won't because lol trump) nothing will happen.
Trump probably would ship her ass here
"lol Trump"?
What a twattish comment - from an alleged sophisticate!
If roles were reversed...extradition ASAP ASAP
@@lesreed9269 It's a name you utter mongoloid, not a statement.
@@Skankhunt-vy7iy Considering he defended her, yeah doubt that very much.
I Have no gripe with Americans but they should change the last line of the national anthem, "The Home Of The Brave" if they don`t extradite this cowardly woman who slunk away from this country. STOP ALL EXTRADITIONS UNTIL SHE FACES JUSTICE.
I’m so happy for the family, they have been through so much. They have never given up.
So is she in UK custody or not?
Well if she isn't then she will be flown to the UK where she will be sentenced.
@@KRXSS_ yeah if there is an extradition bill which assuming there is
@@andrewniu8425 There better be.
You don't keep up with the news, do you? She is still in the US...
@@lesreed9269 extradition is NOT an immediate thing. The UK must request extradition and the person has the right to appeal extradition in a U.S. court. The us rarely grants extradition as us courts have a high standard. Plus the US administration is against charges brought and would take her side in a legal battle. Sadly she will never face justice.
Bless u I am so glad u got justice for ur boy. U 2 are awesome parents my hearts be open for u since this happend. I hope ur xmas will be better now & ur healing begins. Xx
It has to be resolved something this serious isn't gonna go away
JUSTICE!!
Send so much love to the family x
This really shines a BRIGHT LIGHT on what Justice can mean to a loving family robbed of such a dear life and soul to them. R.I.P HARRY 💙
Poor family its horrendous what they've had to go through.
How this family showed dignity in their darkest time... is filling me with pride.
Respect and love.
Its amazing how they have continued to hold themselves together with so much dignity. I really wish them well... so sad
