  • Harry's mum Charlotte Charles broke down after today's decision to charge Sacoolas, 42, who is married to a US diplomat.
Sacoolas allegedly collided with 18-year-old Harry's motorbike as she drove for 400 yards on the wrong side of the road after leaving RAF Croughton, Northants., in August.
Sacoolas was granted diplomatic immunity after the crash and flew back to the States.

It can't be considered negligence if she was not fit to drive and was cleared to do so by her handlers and UK authorities. In the end as a diplomat she is subject to that authority before all others, this was a huge mistake allowing her to drive as she clearly wasn't able to manage, but she didn't go there as a tourist, she took a posting as a diplomat and therefore it is the responsibility of her superiors to ensure she is operating within the scope of her abilities.
This is why she has diplomatic immunity, this is why she won't stand trial.

Sacoolas's attempts to evade justice & her refusal to atone leads me to believe she is comfortably living her preferred outcome, in denial of her responsibility & unmoved by the reality of the effects she causes- She IS a danger to the public. She is a PRIME candidate for removal from, and rehabilitation back in to, society. This is what the JUSTICE system upholds on both sides of the pond.

Murder is murder and there should never be any obstacle that stops these people from facing justice. This woman took the life of this young man and left the country hoping she could get away with it and that she would face no consequences, well I'm glad that the law and justice has caught up to her. I hope this woman faces time in prison for what she's done. Absolute coward.

Why is this Sacoolas, woman being so overly sheltered by the authorities in the US? Its not as if she is high up, or married to someone who can pull lots of strings. It is however a clear case that she killed this poor lad, and I cannot imagine what his family feel, not only losing him, but the sheer horror and stress they have had to endure just to arrive at this point. They do need the justice they so rightly deserve for Harry, and this whole situation with the US; and the way they are shielding this woman, is just so very hard to comprehend, there is something definitely off here, and the question is; why is she is being so highly defended by them, when they know she is Guilty?

  • @rodgeyd6728

If she hadn't fled she would have got a slapped wrist as it was a terrible accident, but to flee and expect to get away with nothing is disgusting. I hope they extradite her and she goes to prison for her cowardice and as for the 'special relationship ' between the UK and US if it was the other way round the Americans would have demanded the extradition. Respect had goodwill to the Dunn family.

I'm a young motorcyclist myself, I ride a Suzuki Bandit 600. Me and my biker friends are shocked that Anne was on the wrong side of the road, then fled the country after hitting Harry. It has made us extremely nervous when riding our bikes. I'm glad justice is finally being served.

@@lesreed9269 extradition is NOT an immediate thing. The UK must request extradition and the person has the right to appeal extradition in a U.S. court. The us rarely grants extradition as us courts have a high standard. Plus the US administration is against charges brought and would take her side in a legal battle. Sadly she will never face justice.
