Lovely combination of flowers, landscapes & architecture! I love to sketch wildflowers and am inspired to do more architectural sketches and also use my colored pencils more. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much! I have to dust off my colored pencils again, I use them most often for butterflies and birds, but they're also great when you don't want to get out water and brushes.

Hi Julia, I often place dabs of the colours i am using on the page. Others find it testing to see the colours you have used when looking though a sketchbook. Thank you for sharing your summer sketching activities.

I love doing that too, notes are also great to remember what the mix is. It's so helpful to have references when you paint something similar later! 🌼

Thanks so much Julia,,very beautiful sketches! I think the tall purple is Lupine maybe? I'm just learning all this and I love that you keep your sketchbook true to your wants and needs. I've wasted too much time trying to be like others and finding my style,,,I'm getting too old for all the comparisons and stuff. I'm just doing my own thing and learning and loving it,,,that way, I don't think I am wasting time!
I also love flowers and mostly trees!

Ganz lieben Dank Michaela, das freut mich sehr! Ich war leider nicht so richtig lange im Garten, aber was ich gesehen habe, fand ich sehr schön. Und daneben dann das fiese Gebäude des Verfassungsgerichts...

@@NatureSketchbook genau,als wir noch jünger waren haben wir uns da so manche Quatschgedanken gemacht.....wie wir die Aufpassbeamten da bissl aus der Reserve locken könnten.....aber wir sind ja brav!!!!! Außerdem können die auch nix dafür....
