Filmed on Lumix G7 and iPhone 11
Nicely done. Love the multi-layered diffusion solution.
Thanks! It definitely has made things easier for me to keep my eyes open. :)
The audeo description in the beginningwas a really great! It was a nice Collab. I really don't have any experiences on filming videos, but I am willing to try after watching this. I got a lot of inspiration from this video!
Awesome! I’m glad you are going to try to make videos. It’s a lot of fun. ;)
Really informative video! I just saw the video on how You and Juan edit your videos! It’s really cool hearing how accessibility works for Final Cut Pro X. I like hearing both of your perspectives on how you both work around with filming and editing. This is going to help future people in the blind community!
Thanks Christian! That’s what we hoped it would do. We need more blind/low vision voices out there, so hopefully it’s a quick start guide for those getting into RUclips or trying to do something like filming/editing. :)
@@UnsightlyOpinions I agree. I did a video awhile back on how I edit my videos too with my low vision.
I will check it out!
Great collaboration. I love this topic. I already watch both channels and enjoy the content. Thanks so much.
Thanks Diana. It was a lot of fun to put together. :)
Thank you this was very informative.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks Tamara, really interesting content. Kind regards Tony from Scandinavia
Thanks Tony! Glad you liked it. :)
Interesting & nice to meet your RUclips friend!
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I love how thorough this video is! I've been wanting something like this for ages!!
If I do film using my phone, I'll facetime a friend or family member to ask how I look before I start.
My pleasure! Good luck and let me know how it turns out. :D
Glad to see you made a video on this subject matter. Helps the newly blind have hope there are accomplishments that can be achieved. With modern technology. We can accomplish much.
That is certainly true! I think of technology as the great equalizer. With adaptive tech the world has become a lot more accessible to those of us with disabilities. :)
Thank you so much for this video. Would you please share how you add soundtrack to you project on Final Cut Pro please? Keep up the good work.
The process is very much the same as I showed aligning the Audio track, I import it, copy it to timeline and use the period and comma to nudge left and right until it aligns. Hope that helps :)
The process of adding soundtracks is the exact same as adding an audio track or other track to change focus from the main timeline I use command down arrow, and then the comma and period to move it around until I'm happy with the placement. Hope that helps :)
What microphone you use? And in Final Cut Pro, can I make my videos portrait mode?
Can you give me the link to Juan's video on the iPhone 13 Pro filming for blind people? I did a search but I wasn't able to find it. Otherwise great video. Thanks
I’m not 100% sure but was it this one? ruclips.net/video/NIeU3d_PL04/видео.html
hi, you are doing great job.
please tell me about your camera lens and exact name and model of the remote control you mentioned in this video.
kind regards.
Thank you! The camera I use is a Lumix G7 - It comes with 2 lenses and I am using the wide-angle lens because it is usually more flattering.
The trigger is called the Oppilas. I've linked to it here. It appears more expensive than when I bought it, but maybe I got it on a sale/promo. about $25.

@@UnsightlyOpinions thanks for the information.
Hi, This may be a super basic question, but in terms of the video/audio tracks you mentioned in the editing video, are those just the same track saved as mp4 versus Wav and does the wav track fade so only the mp4 is playing or do you leave both on?
I’m not sure I 100% follow but I’ll try my best to explain. If you are filming on a device like a phone it will automatically capture audio and video simultaneously on a single track. The only way you wouldn’t capture video is if the camera was on the wrong setting ie front facing when you are on the back or if the camera lens was blocked by something. When it comes to my audio I don’t find the built in is quite what I like in my space because I find it a bit echoey so what I do is wear a separate microphone and record through that at the same time and march up the audio tracks when I am editing.
Good afternoon 👋
Hi Ricky. :)
