Mama makes your bike look so much better. We have had to run spacers on the running boards before. The spacers were no issue at all.
Yeah we could have run spacers but we decided neither one of us particularly cared for them. Plus to make those other exhaust work, 3/4” was too much. Maybe if they were 3/8 or less sure.

Gallop motorcycles makes 2 different 2 into 1 systems that go up and over the cam chest. One is called the hooligan, the other is the lone ranger.
We were looking at those as well, but she didn't like them at all. I have a friend with one on his sporty

@@UncleBogator cool. I’m not even sure what emblems I have. My Dyna was stolen and MIA for two years. I got it back and it had a Wide Glide tank, sportster front end, fat boy rims and a lot of black spray paint. Real shit show.
Put floor boards on my 08 Fat bob around 2013. Belive it was Rinhart exhaust. The exhaust ran just under the air box. The floor boards were great for long rides. Cant lean her as far. Still have a 200 rear tire that was on the fat bob and other parts. The Mephis shades batwing faring clips on and off and is a great upgrade as well.
She's not sure about a windshield or fairing yet. If she does, she definitely wants quick release.

Dang Unc. I have a Dyna Switchback with Big Shots. I've been shopping for a 2 into 1, but have the same problem with the right floorboard. The big shots do touch that rear mount. I thought the Freedom Performance Combat shorty looks like they will clear too. Thanks for the video.
When I called around to a few exhaust MFG, they al told me the same thing except SP Concepts. Try em out.

Those floorboards looks like they have some padding for absorbing some of the vibration. I do think that it would be more comfortable being able to have the ability of shifting her foot around to combat fatigue on a long ride. 😎
Yeah they’re just like the touring ones. There’s little springs between the pad and the board for vibration isolation.
I have floorboards on a dyna as well. Im thinking the same thing, sp concepts may fit

What about putting floorboard extenders on the brackets that mount to the frame to bring it out about 2 inches farther
We looked at spacers and didn’t like the idea of them sticking out that far
If I adjust my brake pedal to where I want it on my Yamaha FZ-07 .. the brake light won't work .. so I now have a pressure switch to install. Then I can put my brake pedal where I want it and don't have to try and adjust a mechanical switch ..
I think Bomomma needs a switch back. 😁

Did you try floorboard spacers.
Didn’t want spacers. I’d need about 3/4” and that would’ve been pretty ugly for us
SP Customs exhaust is top quality. I believe SP fabricates there exhaust to order, probably why it took so long to ship

Bo mama will need to watch her heal on the exhaust, as the tendency for sliding the foot over is real (ask me how I know.}

Did you have to re-tune after exhaust install ?
I didn’t. It already had a high flow tune on it. We have some other things we’d like to do later that will prompt a new tune
The problem with the floorboards was you have a FX, and the Switchback is a FL two different frames, her floorboards are too high.
That’s why your pipes didn’t fit.
Think her floorboards are too high, you should see the FXDP. Those boards came up above the front headpipe. Hers are exactly where they should be. The 2012 FLD was pretty much the same, but it didn't have anything to do with FX vs FL. 2012 was a dyna frame change overall, and the year they introduced the FLD and the 103. If you go look for exhausts for FLD there's not a lot of options. FL and FX (even now) are not different frames. it's just one has floorboards and one has pegs. Good example today is a Heritage and Fat Boy (FLHCS, FLFBS) vs Lowrider (FXLRS) or softail standard (FXST).
