  • Follow along as we head to the Dyno with our Harley-Davidson Road Glides. We put a stock 107" Milwaukee 8 and a stock 117" M8 on the Dyno to see the real Horsepower and Torque numbers these bikes put down. This is the baseline before we start modifying the 107" to try and beat the 117". Follow along this series to see what it takes. Part 2 drops next week!

    What an awesome resource to have, in this shop! I love learning about super-pro guys like these; as legit as can be, no-BS, no window dressing/social media posturing, haha. I know a guy near me who definitely runs my preferred HD shop. I have such an allegiance to him, haha. Thanks so much for sharing. Totally awesome.

    Yo boys! I had a zippers redshift 468 put in my reef blue 2022 road glide standard with a Bassani 2 into 1 mid length exhaust and Arlen ness big sucker air cleaner and it put me at 106hp and 119 ft/lbs. All with the screaming eagle tuner. I’m pretty stoked with that so I think Juan will be sitting pretty after the feuling cam.

    Juan is definitely going to get some good performance out of that 107 with a cam. I put an S&S 465 torque cam in my softail with a 107 which brought it up to 106 hp/116 torque. Little less hp than the S&S 475 cam, but all the power is down low and immediate. Guy said he had it up to about 165 mph on the dyno, but that's with no wind resistance.

    JUAN, Please put down the phone and get rid of the Auto Tuner. Your bike deserves a real tune.
    Totally understand and I felt the awkward vibes in the dyno room when the VH product wasn't lookin too hot
    Listen to the man in charge of the dyno , TTS is the way to go!
    107 with a cam loves to rev!! Parts list I broke after adding a cam in my 107.
    Compensator, 2 OEM transmissions, clutch basket case, shredded belts, crank shaft twisted as well.
    I love my bike. I ride the piss out of it. Break fix repeat 🤘🏻
    Looking forward to the next videos and seeing the mod list!

I have a 22 RG (same as Juan now) but in reef blue. Will be caming and using the powervision. Fuel pack isn’t a great tuner past pipes and air cleaner

    Juan and Lance..... compare, CLOSELY, the area under the curve, before and after the Feuling cam and exhaust mod and SkunkWorks tune from 2000 rpm to 4000 rpm from your BASELINE TUNE and STOCK exhaust. You should have a clean, stock dyno reading, everything bone stock, with a exhaust pipe with adequate back pressure, and what you get afterwards with all the mods, HP and torque#s. You should tune for where you run the rpms the most. Passing is such an insignificant % of time that you use all a cam offers. You should also baseline your fuel consumption, pencil and paper, with MPG's both before and after. I am betting you're going to suck a LOT more gas and have a lot less range if your stage 2 cam is anything lumpier than a 465, say a 475 or a 3/4 grind street / race cam. Not sure if you or the business is paying your fuel bills on photo shoots, vs is it on your dime when you fill up. Hard to say, since the Vlog is a business, and what gets claimed as business expenses. Peak numbers torque and HP are for the drag strip and bragging / dick dragging contests. Use that Engineering degree you got there.

      Yes, they are.... and they are 3.5 to 5% faster logging miles on your odometer, too. Which means when your odometer reaches 5250 miles from the last oil change, you've really traveled barely 5000 miles. Confirmed via GPS and Google Maps numerous times on my M8 softail.

    @MotoDUDEabides 7 месяцев назад +1

    Part of your gas mileage issue is you speedometer being so far off. Your odometer and trip are way off too. Juan should be able to calculate indicated mileage vs true mileage based on the mph difference in indicated speed vs speed over ground assuming the speed difference is constant and not variable across the sweep.
