I recently changed the Waterpump on my S3 by using a golf R one, and drive the car for a month before this Fault shown, what do you think the problem is?
I was getting this code but ONLY when restarting after a shut down. While running it was fine do i figured something to do with the after run pumps. Sure enough, battery died a few months later and I'm not getting the code after changing it
@@pavoldavid7861 well depends who does it but as you can see it took me good hour or two as there’s good few things to remove plus you have the part to pay for on top…
the hell with that! That's half the engine taken apart. I kept hearing... one more thing... one more thing... one more thing... Looks like I'm gonna suck it up and send it to Audi.

What did you find wrong was thermostat stuck closed or open
@@simonedwards5401 good question It was intermittent fault sometimes opens and sometimes closes…. It mainly open… from live data and active test…

@@HugeVictor hmm weird I can’t really comment get the pump checked to be sure it’s functioning correctly
God I hope this fixes mine. This problem isn't cheap.

Guys. Change you’re thermostat and sensor they are not expensive .
can you just change the thermostat itself and not the water pump
