I just purchased the exact same colour bike as you’re riding…absolutely the best looking of all of them…I traded in my 2006 and as nice as my previous bike was, this 6th generation is incredible !!!….like it much better !!….ride safe
I just took a post labor day, long weekend ride around the West side of the state (Colorado) on my 2018 Goldwing.. I checked my mileage after each fill up. The worst milage check was 50 mpg and the best was 53 mpg. When I'm cruising around town (Denver) I'm usually right on at 42 mpg.
How is the comfort and performance for long distance touring with the 2018 Yamaha star venture tc model? The air cooled and low hp is what is preventing me from going ahead with the tc but it is 1/2 the price of the GL.
I rode the Yamaha Eluder you can watch the full review on my channel here. Way better legroom on the Yamaha. I like the Goldwing, but the legroom is not there. However, you will get more longevity out of the Goldwing I believe.
@@tgmotorider.narratinglifeo3480 yeah I just watched the video. I think most of it is true for the venture as well. The venture in addition to the above mentioned issues the talks about lack of parts incase something breaks is also a concern. Thanks.

I recently purchased a 2019 Goldwing tour DCT. I have owned dozens of bikes and this bike is on a different level
It's a wonderful machine !! 125/125 hp/torque Low center of gravity gives it the maneuverability.
Robert is 100% correct!
A great bike in many ways. Looks great too. Nice Porsche inline 6 sounding exhaust note.

MPG varies by riding conditions. When I hit stiff headwinds or crosswinds, it will go down to the 30s. Under ideal conditions, it’s 50
I like the new goldwing looks like a sport bike but I like the old wing price more lol 😅
Great
I just round off the fuel to 5 x 50 = 250 miles to a tank. Speed and aggressive riding will lower that.
The new Goldwings have much improved Fuel consumption....so the Lost Gallon is not much of a loss.

What floor boards are on that bike ?
