So I've done it all exactly as shown in video but what if my hot cues are not brought over from serato? I open up serato and everything is there, sync in EP and it's all blank.
Same thing happened to me- I was only able to transfer the tracks. I assume the Serato database which keeps the sync, loops, and hot cues is located somewhere else in my harddrive.
I just bought the prime go as a back up. This device is amazing. The only issue I’m having is difficulty making crates in the engine Dj software. I have all my music on sd card and external hardrive. Loading and playing tracks and each deck is problem free but I can’t figure out how to organize my music in crates, for example hip-hop, r&b, reggae etc. I need help.
I want to buy a prime 4 to dj weddings / i currently use serato dj but it reads from my iTunes library and serato saves all my loops -cue points -beat grids etc. whats the best bulletproof way to switch over?
Does this keep the track order of crates? I know it does for playlists, but it seems that my crates sorted by bpm are different in engine Prime in the order that they show up.
I'm going to have to try this. All of my mp3 files are analyzing almost perfectly within engine prime, but my wav. files are not analyzing as accurately within the system.
EDIT - See below I'm looking forward to further updates with Engine Prime, I currently use it as a backup behind Serato, which I use as my primary organisation/playback app. Largely very happy! I appreciate the integration between Engine Prime and Serato, unfortunately I've found the library refresh method within Engine to be very slow before the read-only library updates - literally taking at least an hour. This is consistent between my Dell XPS laptop and my PC, both running Windows 10 - I find it quicker to drag and drop new tracks that I've imported into Serato into the Engine window. I'm not sure if there's anything I can do to address this, but if not I look forward to it being rectified in a future update! EDIT ~30 mins after the fact - I see on a Facebook promo from Denon DJ that the planned update will provide "Speed improvements to Serato, iTunes and Traktor imports". Looking forward to it!
Serato Cue Points are not showing up on Engine Prime. Please help.
Can I also use my usb drive on other cdjs like Pioneer?
Does this work for the Prime GO too?
Hey! What about import the SMART CRATE from SERATO to Engine?

Did you figure out why this is? Thanks.
I did this and the cue points are not on point on Engine Prime???
can anyone tell me what is the reason that engine doesn't sync & update with my Serato crates?
gave this a shot and plugged my drive into a demo prime 4 in a guitar center demo display. No playlists or crates! What am I doing wrong?

How do you delete tracks
Work for me in no way. It says the music files are on Volume C, but they are on Volume D.
