Im the last verse on this and I truly appreciate you guys. Much love from the KaveMan ❤
Your verse hit home the most for me! I love the original version of this song but the mix is so much better - thank you for being real!
That was dope brother @kaveman much respect
Bro you are so talented keep it up please
I gotta sub to you dude. Ur ability on the mic is out of this world! Plus ur words hit me hard
Yes man!! You can feel the passion and authenticity in your tone and lyrics! “”Anybody wanna give me a reason”” haha let’s gooo!!
Yes, I am one of the ladies. I honor, love, respect and adore my husband. He is my world and there is nothing I would not do for him. Dax brought amazing people together. Man are a dying breed in the United States and we need to wake up and bring back our humanity and most of all our man. There is no humanity without men and women respecting, honoring each other. Our men need our support.
Thank you for your comment! Are you saying your one of the ladies that sings on the song or one of the ladies that guys are talking about in the video?
I left my wife for a lot of reasons BUT the biggest one was I was not heard. When I would tell her how I felt she straight out told me she is the woman. My feelings never mattered. So as a recovering alcoholic, 15 yrs sober, I chose myself because I couldn't risk my sobriety. I was always depressed because I felt alone.
Seems they want only male provision without advice or male leadership in anyway.
I've never dealt with addiction but i battled depression big time. Many a times i thought everyone would be better of without me around. If it weren't for my kids i may have done it. During that time i have my life to the Lord. Things didn't change right away and i still struggle. Was led to move from Ohio to Florida. My wife and i had no jobs or place to live but we went. 4 years later we bought our first house and new car and both had good jobs at the sheriff's department making a difference in people's lives. Our kids ended up in a local Baptist Church School and we were members, saved and baptized. There are still worries and struggles but they don't weigh me down because of Christ in my life. I don't know how people make it through this life on their own.
The first artist Atlus sitting with the glass of alcohol along with the bottle and contemplating on rather he should drink or not, set the tone for whole song and it was powerful.
When the woman in this song says "im sorry " . That made me pause and shed a tear. I realized I don't know that I've ever heard any woman ever say a true apology to me for any hurt she caused except my wife. This song made me appreciate my wife even more and she was already everything to me but this song helped me to understand why she is everything to me.
I'm a recovering addict and I'm grateful to God for my life!!!! 8 years clean, much love from Kentucky ❤️🙏❤️
Stopped smoking in 2006
“Jesus wept”… and laughed, and shared, and helped, and prayed, and fed, and gave, and taught, and leaned on those close to Him, and loves. Toughest, kindest man I know, Who I most desire to be like. Great review mixed with Godly wisdom, thanks.
27 year crack/cocaine addiction. How im still here is a miracle. This song is amazing! Ive been clean since September 2018. Fighting demon every day
I'm so thankful that your still here!
Im sitting here, tears pouring down my face while my family is asleep bc im an addict. I have been since 2006 when i got back from iraq. I have severe heart failure to the point that i had to have a pump installed to bypass the left side of my heart and i am so scared to be a burden that i still do the same things just to function. I cant imagine letting my 2 boys down by not being able to interact like the other kids fathers. The medicine they keep me on makes it almost impossible to even get out of bed.
Praying for you to receive healing and salvation and help in this really tough time in your life. ❤Don't lose hope, I know it's easier said than done. He is a God who can deliver from any storm and moves mountains just to be with you. Trust His love and cry in His arms of compassion, He's waiting just for you. He has healing and abundant life planned just for you. He died on your behalf so you can have peace beyond understanding.
He's got you...
Bro you got this god give the hardest battles to the toughest soldiers I m with you bro thru Christ we shall overcome these obstacles failure ain't a option my brother stay strong stay prayed up I have faith in Yu will win this battle ❤❤❤❤
Thank you my brother for the sacrifice to keep me us free I don't know Yu bro but much love n many prayers for you and your family
What is abundantly clear is there is a nation of men who are in need of the LOVE and SALVATION in CHRIST...but if you share this TRUTH without LOVE and COMPASSION it will not be received...
Im not a Christian but enjoyed the insight that you two bring to the table reacting to this song. Im also a recovering addict, 2 years clean, keep doing what you do!
You guys need to see the original "To be a man" I love how "DAX" allowed other people to add a personal verse in this mega version. I love the work you are doing.
Don’t know why I came across you two but I’m sure there’s a reason. Terrific song. Great words and encouragement.
Ive never been afraid to shed tears....
I listen to this song all the time and I relate alot to it .but speaking of God and timing today I finally said out loud I was in truly in trouble with drinking after keeping quiet about it for years . I quit entirely a few years ago and that i would find this and the Bible verses you quote from the Bible really spoke to me .
Praise God! Reach out S2Lrecovery.org if you need some extra help! Adam and Ryan both went through that program and now on staff!
As an addict myself I love this channel it helps me cope so I know I no longer need it bcuz I have the support out there as long as I'm willing to choose life over my addiction
Choose life!!!!
I have never hit subscribe so fast in my life you guys are awesome and keep pushing Christ's message out there!
"who are you without your problems?" Cant remember where i heard that.
My husband & I love ALL types of music praising God. Because at the end of the day we are still praising him
West Virginia is a mommy state as well where its really hard to have any rights. My oldests mother has lost custody 3 times due to drugs and other things and each time within 6 months she takes it back to court and my son is taken away from me and given to her again
Gosh man. So sorry!
This is a very powerful song. Just celebrated 26 months clean and sober two weeks ago.
Let’s gooooo
Congrats man! that's awesome! Keep it up man.
@@loominal2009 , thanks.
I've been making the rounds of reactions to this amazing collab that Dax did. Your reaction and discussion has been the best I've seen. I'm not recovering from any addictions but I am a Christian and the line "Jesus wept and brother you can too." hit me hard.
Amen and ty both for your love of God and wisdom.
The way that DAX plainly and simply put it out there that the mental stability of men is so easily hidden because of the stigma against men seeking therapy is beautiful.
I love this song. MEN'S mental health needs more simply beautiful to be put at the front of things. @ThatsDax , thank you for doing this in a time where men's mental health is so often over looked and under treated.
someone once explained to me that the difference between men and women is that men are attracted to women, women are attracted to what a man can do for them. women are attracted to money and status. Most men Don't try to look for a relationship until they already have a certain degree of money and status. women do the opposite. They look for a man and then work on their money and status. Which is why they only look for men who already have money and status. they want a man who will help them reach their goals. men would rather reach their goals by themselves and then find a humble woman later in life to share it with. But that's just what i was told as a kid.
Dax also did something like this with the song called dear alcohol,
Another song of his is called dear God
The black guy you like is Brotha Rick.
I listened to this video for just a few minutes, didn't even hear the song when I clicked subscribe. I'm an addict and suffering today. It's refreshing seeing people like yall being able to use this platform to reach people. I wish I could say I have x amount of time sober, but I can't. Watching this, it gave me alot more hope then I had. I'm pretty sure this video was put in front of me for a reason. So thank yall
Thank you for the kind words and encouragement. If you think its time to put this stuff behind you let us know. Adam and Ryan both went through the S2L program before they came on staff. (Ryan 5 years ago and Adam over 10 years ago)
Check out the website and reach out if you feel led. s2lrecovery.org
@@lifeafteraddictionthank you. I'm pretty sure this is bot reaction but that reaction alone made me smile.
A king will elevate a peasant to a queen. A queen will never look a peasants way.
Even Jesus got away alone to pray at times during His ministry on earth, but so necessary for communion and ongoing fellowship with the local body of Christ
First time listener and I love this! I’m 18 months clean and the talk about addiction and recovery is so amazing - the stigma needs to end!
You should do Bench Seat - Chase Rice, most powerful song & the video, prepare the tissues. This one hits home especially for this girl who has been on the relapse path before!
Thanks for the recommendation & for sharing your story. Keep going in your journey of recovery! Very encouraging. God bless you.
I think y'all would dig Church by Tom Macdonald.
Or withdrawals and sober
I live around Nashville and I still struggle with an alcohol addiction and I hope one day I can be strong enough and overcome this struggle that goes on within me daily
Brian, thank you for commenting. If you need an extra hand to get through this struggle check out S2Lrecovery.org it is the same place that Adam and Chiddy went through for help.
I was at that point at one time and God brought me far and wide and he brought me out of my addiction. I've been clean now 11 in a half years. Now I'm waiting for him to bring me out of my addiction of cigarettes.
I think it's great how you guys take these songs from Dax, Tom, and others who are standing up against Satan and putting in Bible perspective and talking and teaching about the Bible at the same time.
That second and third verse hits me every time. Great reaction, y'all got a new subscriber
I'm so tired of letting him down. Been sober for 31 years but still struggle with weed so tired of losing this battle.
This song and y'all has helped me I knee to get back in Church for iv quite going so now I knee to get back in thanks
You made me remember the ONE verse I compleatly understand Luke 18/27 "And he said " the things that are impossible with men are possible in god"
Just to clarify, cause I’ve heard this “stat” voiced over and over. Men’s suicide rate IS higher than women’s, cause they tend to use more deadly mean (i.e., guns). Women Attempt suicide at higher rates than men, but they tend to use Less deadly means (e.g., poison).
My husband choose a gun in 2021. I was a clinical psychologist. I had no clue. I reject basically everything now. I know nothing. I know only my responsibility to the little one, and God. And I am no longer afraid of death. Until my work on earth is done, I will keep on. When God calls, when He decides it’s my time, I will pick up that phone. I just want to make sure she is set up, in case the call comes tomorrow.
You both did a wonderful job on this reaction, guys! Well done!
Thank you! Stay tuned for more & if you have any recommendations, we're up to hear! God bless.
Y'all are the first reaction video I seen that talked about the assault on men DAILY! Thank you.
yes brutha rick the one yall liked he is a talented artist and its always a blessing to hear that man speak
Amazing collaboration ❤🎉
For all the men who need and deserve their flowers 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I made a comment earlier. DAX has a video about addiction you need to review. This song video is awesome, men that reviewed the video cried.
Brother Rick is the one you said is your favorite.: I’ve heard like 6 other reactors say the same lol.. new follower here
I was lost for years but then Jesus found me some friends that made me go to curch with them and since then i praise jesus my lord and savior
Glory be to God!
Subbed.. Glad I was lead down the rabbit hole that lead to you..
"I need someone to save me but i have to be the one to save you.." that verse hit me hard.
Could you guys also do DAX's "Dear Alcohol"? Original video is best. (Also "Ren - Dear Ren and or / sick boy", "but you might have to bleep some things, up to you). He's an upcoming artist everyone is talking about who if you do some research has come down with lime disease and is now creating music about it and other things like suicide. Also I appreciate that your doing reactions based on faith and teachings of Christ. As a practicing Christian, I love hearing your perspective on songs that are out there today. I think your channel is a great bridge opportunity to pull those in that love music and to hear a faith based perspective with Christ at its foundation for views and thoughts on how the artist intended and what we can learn from it. Keep up the good work guys.
Or Dear God by dax
@@carolynbordeman1144 True, but i was honestly thinking about their theme of Addictions. Since they help with "recovery" and all.
To add to this Book of Revelations is a really good one as well. Also Depression
Liked and subscribed. Praise God for your testimony ❤🎉
💪💪💪
I have watched a few of these videos.
I love that you guys come at it from gods view. It’s awesome and refreshing. Keep up the great work.
Definitely subscribing.🙏🏾😊
Thank you for the encouragement!
I’m glad that’s this helps men, but it’s the sacrifice we make by pushing our feelings down that keeps society going
You guys are awesome. For a long time i had my own issues with God but i mended that relationship and life is so much better.
You just gained another follower. And the artist you said, was your favorite so far is called Brutha Rick. Dax has another remix he put out called “Dear Alcohol”. Y’all should definitely check that one out too. I have a 6 songs on every playlist I listen to since entering recovery. “I’m not okay” by Citizen Soldier, “Who am I” by Casting Crowns, “I can only imagine“ by MercyMe, “God only knows“ and “Love me, like I am“ by for KING AND COUNTRY and “Maybe it’s time“ by SIXX A.M. ft. Corey Taylor, Joe Elliot, Brantley Gilbert, Ivan Moody, AWOLNATION, and Tommy Vext. I try to live by a 4 word phrase I learned in AA/NA, Let Go, Let God. #wedorecover
Amen
Guys, God's Eyes mega remix and Life deserve reactions from y'all. This is the first video that i have seen of y'alls and will sub when i get done watching the reaction here. Keep doing what you are doing
@14:50 "even when the world doesn't show you the same!" That's facts!!!!!

Thank you so much for the kind words
I feel messed up listening to this version... it's too much to swallow and it's real deep. Eats up your heart and spit out your soul dry..... damn
God bless men and much respect always. Times will get hard but God has your back. Great song!!!❤❤❤
Ik im late but the second verse or the second guy made me bawl. His voice is amazing and the two simple words "jesus wept" and brother so can you got me good
Great reaction to a great song
The verse where the guy said my oldest is 20 my youngest 11 is Brotha Rick
I used to be a alcoholic but I recovered thankfully to dax dear alcohol song and my daughter not god he never came or cared i had to do it alone
God wakes you up everyday!
man... "i felt this until i found jesus"?
i thought i was alone in feeling that burden lifted when i found him... or he found me.
this i realy needed to hear, allthough now i got other questions.. wich badly need answering.
seach goes on..
Much love for @atlus ..his verse really hit hard.
Men need more of this especially today when the whole world wants to beat us down.
Have you fellas ever heard of Colicchie? If y'all haven't, y'all should listen to his song, Drug Addiction.
The verse about suicide is the Mediary. He has awesome music
I'm alone all the time when I'm not at work
Jerry, so sorry to hear this!! I know it’s hard but fellowship is vital brother! Reach out to us info@spring2life.net and we can help you find some fellowship
@@lifeafteraddiction do you tell people that their in a better place when they die
My brother's friend hung himself because he didn't want to live homeless he did a 35 year bid it was a sad day because my brother found him
God has our😢backs thank you
We have all the responsibility and none of the understanding or respect that should come with it.
As to the song. This was the first Dax song I heard. And it sold me on his music.
Since then I’ve heard one song I’m not thrilled with. However if I rewatch it I may catch something about it that I missed that first time.
I don't know his name, but the bigger dude -
Man, you got killer hair, and your beard is amazing!
That aside, really nice reaction of the song! 👍
edit: I got to the part of the video where he said your name! We got the same name!
When shown this Adam said: "Clearly our listeners have genius level iq's"
@@lifeafteraddiction 🤣
I found you today at my worst trying to kick alcoholism and it’s kicking my ass and I just need a damn hug I’m broken but I’m trying.
Keep up the fight! We are here at S2Lrecovery.org. Feel free to reach out to us at info@spring2life.net. We will be praying for you.
Brutha Rick did thhaaattt❤️
I believe you heard that Phrase on Fresh n Fit. A King would marry a Peasant woman and turn her into a Queen. But a Queen would never look a Peasant mans way. Great reaction brother
I speak to God from time to time because there is no one else who cares. funny thing about God. I've never had the feeling he was smiling to my face while waiting to stab me in the back. I can tell him all the things that terrify me, and never worry about him running and telling everyone else. And I dont think God minds if I cry in his presence. I havent been struck by lightning yet... I would never try that in front of my wife or kids. To them I'm not really human. Im more rock. Id rather God just take me home before they ever see me being weak.
💯 alot of tmesthey go with the woman when they shouldn't. I appreciate you guy's noticing that. It's big especially these days. ✌️💚💯
9 1/2 years clean🙏🙏🙏
Already had one bottle bout to go get another cant do this anymore
Reach out Aaron. S2Lrecovery.org today is the day for freedom from this crap to begin!
I liked & subscribed. I love this ministry and help out with a ministry called chains unchained, helping those who are recovering. I really encourage you to check out the band convictions. They are a Christian metalcore band that hits deep. I will most def pray for your ministry to grow❤
Great reaction, fellas new sub. Can y'all do Dax's song "Dear Alcohol
Please do a reaction to Dax Dear alcohol. Its one of greatest song I ever heard someone sing for addiction. That really helped me man
I just lost my both my grandfather's in relatively short order. I haven't talked to God since I buried a daughter 15 years ago. It's so hard to let go of the anger, cause it feels like that's the only thing that's kept me alive at times. This song hits me like a Mack Truck everytime I hear it. I guess it's because so much of it hits home the original and megaremix
Praying for you. God bless you.
DAX Dear Alcohol is a great song as well
Whooooooooo let's gooooooooo hallelujah praise Jesus mighty name hallelujah. Subscribe for sure my brothas in Christ hallelujah amen 🙏
👊
Tom MacDonald blame the rappers reaction would be cool
Dear Alcohol by Dax is also incredible
As someone who beat the only addiction I think actually qualifies for me and who doesn’t understand/isn’t prone to addiction I’d be interested in talking with y’all at length on the subject sometime 🤔 honestly if I do something people consider addicting and I don’t want to do it anymore I just stop. No chemicals have been able to affect me mentally the way they do others so idk. I wonder if I’m messed up or just made good choices along the way.
Keep going in your journey because it's an awesome & needed testimony of freedom from addiction! God bless.
If i was rich i would. Money doesnt keep you warm its whats in the heart of the man that i would be interested in. I cant trust money it comes and goes but the actions and of a man i can build with
You missed Phix lines about suicide. White hair guy with the back drop cross.
Clarksville here ☝️
i keep on typing this this song being open verse should become the longest song ever written with the most contributing artists .get the message to jelly roll to add a chapter think of the potential.. and i think if we crown our king this is where elvis's should be passed because he demonstrates the example of a fair leader each of his subjects gets to lead through the openness of his example.. and it comes to us at a time when we have the least support and have to join together and rise up to bring a change to a world that must pull together or were lost .. and were at the biggest disadvantage we've ever had .. but this is the time and that's what we have to do.. so we will. and i'll throw in what makes this song special it's not just speaking on one element.. relationships, addiction, social pressure, emotional obligation, and the desire to persevere..
❤🙏🔥👍
I don't know your guys's channel very well this is my first time with you guys but if you haven't already you should react to some Tom MacDonald he has quite a few songs about addiction. Sober, angels, scars, withdrawals, fighter, and church just to name a few
