You need to showcase your masterpiece to the world by distributing it through renowned app stores like Google Play.
I am frequently approached to create a video tutorial that offers a comprehensive walkthrough on deploying your FlutterFlow application to the #googleplaystore. In this upcoming video, I will guide you through each step involved in this process, providing a detailed 2023 walkthrough. As a follow-up to my previous series on my channel, where we collaboratively built a Goals Tracking App using FlutterFlow and #Supabase, we will employ this application as our example. Once your application is constructed and successfully deployed on the Google Play Store, you'll be ready to unleash it to the production environment and make it readily accessible on the store!

Hello. Great video that helped me save hours from pouring over the Google documents. I have encountered a problem though. After I sent the link to my internal testers, they were able to follow the link and install the app onto their Android devices. However, they were unable to submit a review. Hence, my app remains unreviewed and is not able to progress forward to the next testing step. Can you advise on what could be causing the review issue?

If I have ads should I turn them ON for the "internal" deployment? Or only when it's in "production"? Thanks! (I put them in FF as "test Ads")
Never run production ads internally. Keep test ads for interal testing
@@the_digitalpro thanks everything worked perfectly. Now my app is on Play Store! Maybe for a future video you could explain how to upload it with the "standard" membership (It's only 30$ instead of 70$), but it only allows to download the .apk - I found no videos about it on the internet

When I upload my aab file on the Play Console, i have this error message : "The package name of your APK or Android App Bundle must respect the following format: "com.example.myapp". It can contain letters (a-z), numbers and underscores (_). It must start with a lowercase letter and must not exceed 150 characters."
Do you know where it could come from ? I have tried several times but i always get the same error and I'm running out of solutions :/
The only thing I'm thinking of the fact that I had to create a new associated project on the Google Cloud platform, I couldn't use the one I linked with Firebase and my APIs. Do you think it could come from here ?

I am getting the error " No matching client found for package name" and it will not build the AAB file. I don't see where I would add my package name to the play store console or if I'm missing something else. It is now forcing us to use the Google Cloud method of api access since this video was published so I'm not sure if something there is causing my issue.
Edit: Apparently it was an issue with my firebase settings.
@kevinbacon8716 What exactly did you change in your Firebase settings? I am having the exact same issue, when I "deploy" to the Google Play Store I get the "Fail" signal without the AAB file. I'm stuck and customer support won't get back to me!
@@sidewalkapp In my FIrebase account I made sure the project ID matched the one listed on FlutterFlow.
Hi, 15:25 API acces is not showing for me.
When I tried to add the file .aab in the app bundles field, I have an error. The signed key is in develop mode and not final. Any idea ?
I found the problem. I was creating the aab file from Github in debug and not release
google cloud will take some fees for using deployment of my app using flutterflow?
You only need to pay a one time fee. Unlike Apple Appstore whereby you need to pay each year.
what happend if after the deployment y stop paying to flutter the supscription ? my app will be no more available? or will run normally. my question is because Im trying to puplish an app but Im having issues with generating the bundle key
Hello. Once you have deployed you will be fine. You can then pause or lower your subscription. When you need to then make updates to your app you can resume subscription. Alternatively you could download all your application code and publish manually but obviously this will require greater understanding.

Yes this is an absolute nightmare for a number of new app developers. Google changed the rules after the video was produced.
There is no API access page on my google play console. Please enlighten me how to solve this. I am stuck for month and can’t go on from that part.
hey mate same here, found out how though, now you gotta copy that long service account email address created in the gcloud console then paste in the play console users and permissions, invite new users, choose the app, make sure you choose correct permissions and click invite..
My friend, the ACCESS API page does not exist and I cannot link the service account with the app I am creating, it is out of date

a standard account is not sufficient to deploy?
I'm not totally 100% sure of your question but basically you do need to purchase a 1 off developer subscription which is linked to your Google email linked account.

@@the_digitalpro im actually moving from appsheet, and i am releasing an update to flutterflow, hope you can assist me with this. i believe i just have to make sure the package name is the same as the one released to google yeah?

When I go to console>settings>api access, it now says "The API access page has gone away". So I created the service accounts directly through "IAM & Admin" not sure if its the right way.
Then under "Users and Permissions", I manually copied and pasted the email from service account created, and invited the user.
Manage>Added the app permissions as per your video as well
Now after all is done, when I deploy, I got the error
* What went wrong:
Execution failed for task ':app:processReleaseGoogleServices'.
> No matching client found for package name 'com.appsheet.whitelabel.guid_xxxxxxxxxxxx'
I made sure the package name is the same as above on Flutterflow. Was it something I did wrong in the process?

You need to go to users and authorizations and create the new user "flutterflowcodemagic"
@@the_digitalpro I think I am having the same issue, when we go to the api access page in the google play console to manage the created service account or even lead us to the google cloud to create. It does not show the button to click it just says "API no longer availiable, we are reviewing and if it has already been setup then it will still work". This is what I get on my end and now on Flutterflow I get a "caller does not have permission error". Any idea what could be causing this?

Hi thanks. It's really difficult to get the pace right for all audiences. One option on RUclips is to slower the pace of the video. Not sure if you have tried that.
