Exactly. And with all the current trend of hardcore games Castlevania would absolutely rock. Not a metroidvania style, but classic straightforward hard as fck Castlevania.
This song is my favorite song in the CV series. I have played them all since my childhood. I reached this stage when I was 10-11, this stage was epic as fuck, just like the music.
Am I the only one who experienced the game randomly freezing at some point when reaching this stage? It made me so mad, I had such a hard time getting past this level back then.
@@vgmusicrevisited8668 that's due to the high amount of sprites in that stage. Check The Cutting Room Floor, they got more info on that. It's a quite common freeze
Can't stop listening to it. Really wish someone someday make a remake of Castlevania with your tunes or let us play the original game with this music :)
Anyone who's played through the original Castlevania will have this melody etched into their brains forever. ...Mainly because they were forced to listen to it for a long, _long_ time.
The intense theme that one day will be combined with ''Don't Wait Until Night'' and be the theme of Julius Belmont, the Belmont which used all the knowledge of his predecessors and, with help, defeated FINALLY Mathias Cronqvist for good. Good work!.
I mean, it depends on points of view. I could say Mathias died when Elizabetha did, that's when he rejected his humanity and faith in order to take revenge on God. However, some believe Mathias death as Dracula's birth before the last battle in Lament of Innocence. The truth is, he's now gone for good, and Dracula can rest in peace as long as Soma can control his own darkness.
If you can get to the Grim Reaper boss at the end of this stage, make sure you have triple shot holy water and at least 45 hearts. This boss always appears on the right side of the screen. Start throwing the holy water to freeze him in place. If you're quick enough, the sickles won't appear on the screen. I know this boss is a pain in the butt without using this strat.
castlevania is a hard game, but with enough practice and a lot of deaths and game overs you'll eventually get to experience this beautiful song and epic level (and also grim reaper's fight, but we don't talk about that)
Congratulations! I'm a musician too and am heavily impressed by your skills. Specially your capacity to maintain the same feel as the original. Almost nobody gets this right. Really amazing! Have you ever thought about remixing Megaman X themes? I really would like to see what songs like Megaman X2 intro stage would sound like in orchestra style
Megaman's music is a big challenge because it sounds like it was made to be played by a rock band, with drums, guitars and such. But There's always a way to convert them into something decent with orchestral sounds. I'll sure give it a try:)
Castlevania needs to make a comeback

Man i can't get enough of your castlevania stuff
The castlevania music style is simply amazing. You heard these melodies once back then, and instantly remembered them.
Best theme in the franchise IMHO and this version is just awesome
Nice!

I would love that too! I often propose to people who create remakes of castlevania games to use my tracks, but no luck yet! :)

The battle where Julius fights Dracula needs to happen in a game
Amazing as always!
No dislikes. . . AMAZING!!!
one dislike now... :(
A very playful rendition
The best version ever.
Love this theme, but remembering trying to get through this stage is a big source of PTSD.

Excellent work as usually sir
Thanks a lot:)
This real good work, sounds amazing!
This mix is slappin!
This is awesome, you should remix the GBA Can't wait until night + Heart of Fire.
AMAZING!
Unfortunately, I never got to hear this music in the game because I never made it this far!
