- In this video I talk about and show off the worst belt I have ever been sent.
This belt was bought off of ebay by a customer of mine and sent directly to me to releather. My customer had been mislead into believing this was a Fandu made belt rather than a Pakistan made bootleg.
Throughout the course of the video I discover more and more flaws on this belt.

A few months back on one of the facebook belt groups, one guy bought a winged eagle boot similar to this and believed he bought the best thing ever made. He said that the maker "hit it out of the ballpark". To each their own I guess

I've been watching your videos now since 2011 and this is one of the best and funniest videos you've ever put up. I also was never a fan of the classic Reggie Tag belt, I much preferred the J-Mar Attitude version, but the actual Fandu of the classic Reggie Tag makes me like it.
I cant lie man, the guy in a headlock plate makes this belt seem like a good addition to my collection just for the comic relief

Those "wrestler" plates look like Casper ghosts. 👻 The Tag Team Wrestling Champions lettering gave it away as a fake. The lettering is to plain text.

I had a bootleg Jeff Hardy TNA Immortal Belt and the foam is to make some space for the nuts and bolts, cause they're so tall it would pretty much puncture the backing

Hey Paul just wanting to mention incase someone hasn'tthe fandu big golds early on and some early alternate colors have a much much better fake leather strap than compared to what they have now. I have a Andre 87 from them and the type of leather between my andre 87 and big gold is night and day difference. I think the leather changed when they started to offer straps with different backings. The big gold you reviewed is a completely different material then my big nickel.

I've had a few boot makers on Instagram dm ask me to teach them how to do leather work and or do it for them I always decline I feel your pain man on the plates and the leather work itself that backing reminds me of a pillow lol

The reason the back is that way is to cover the long bolts that are on the back of the main plate.

When I started buying belts, I fell into the trap of this. I once bought a WCW TV belt with the TBS logos on the side plates and it came in the box with the padding and very thin plates. I hated it
Yeah I got one not realising it was from Pakistan 🇵🇰 it doesn’t have the right amount of studs and the centre plate is off centre just like in this video. Waited 2 1/2 weeks for it to arrive and regret it, waste of £100

How much does a re-leather job cost? I just ordered a Fandu Big Gold Luxe duel plated and would like to have a nice leather strap for it.
I buy most of, like 90% of mine from eBay, mainly because one off eBay is generally around $200 AUD, whereas ones off the actual sites cost me upwards of $500AUD, general much more because of shipping, but despite how crappy the quality and obviously up close bad look to them, they still look great for display and unless ones from WWE Shop are down to like, as cheap as eBay, I'll most definitely still buy from eBay and save the actual stores for times I can really spend weeks saving up for them

Do you do re leathers on custom championship belts and if so how much do you charge to re leather a belt if it's coming from the United States I'm only asking because I have a custom championship belt that was made for me that I am considering getting rel leatherd with a better leather strap if I can afford it it won't be so if my due right away but it is something I'm considering for the future

Bro ... i seen a universe belt , the plates were sheet metal with plastic stones ... with the padding on back
I bought two belts in these production styles. One is ok and I've done work to it. The other got sent back. For what it is, and if you're skint- then it's ok as a placeholder.
The only problem with the Fandu belts is that they make the plates small cause look how much bigger the bootleg main plate is compared to fandu. That's like the main complaint from people buying the big gold belt from fandu.
I had purchased a similarly crappy WWF belt from Amazon by a Pakistan company, I did not know if was coming from Pakistan until I saw the tracking origin. It was terrible! I cant even explain how bad it was. I contacted the seller and complained, he obviously knew he was going to lose the argument, and he refunded me in full and told me to "give it away" lol Learned my lesson, I currently own a Fandu Big Gold, amazing, and the two WWE Big Eagle versions, both amazing. I want to get the Fandu re-leathered but the cost is a little much considering the total price of the Big Gold V3.
