I like how Paul has an evolution of different tools developed over the years, makes work on him easier, but still produces top notch quality.
I would love a full run down of all the tools you use for a complete belt. From the leather stamps and bevels you use to the electroplating and paint.

I tell you what, JMAR was lazy when it came to his snap boxes, but I bet strap makers breath a sign of relief when they don't have to hand tool a snap box. Well those of them that have a press and have forked out for the plates anyway.

This looks like a hobby I would LOVE to do. WWE Shop belts would be the easier belts to do because they have the perfect screws to use. No grinding required.
The questions I have:
1. Where does one buy raw leather like that and how much should that typically cost?
2. What was the first liquid product you used just after sanding the belt's edges?
3. How long do you let the dye dry for?
4. What's the name of the "gloss" you applied after the dye?
5. Did you need to dampen the leather with water before tooling?
6. Where do you purchase the snap buttons?

Very curious. Where do you get those press plates for the snapboxes? Do you make those yourself or do you get them through someplace like you would with the leather tools?
If you ever find out this answer please let me know! I have accumulatively spent a couple hours now over the last week searching and searching for these online or at least some literature on the subject!

Anyone know what size cubic zirconia stone he used? Looks like he just popped the stock stones out and glued the new stones in. Would love to do it to my IC belt.

We do offer and make real custom championship belts using the same materials and techniques as the belts on TV, but unfortunately, for educational or non-profit purposes or not, we cannot make anything that uses WWE IP as we have agreements in place with them and want to keep our lights on. 😂 officially licensed replicas or fully custom legally made real belts are the only things we can do. - Tommy

Please tell me you have straps that fit the early 2000 Attitude F logo belts. I've refused to re-leather my belt to keep the F logos, but I think I've been wrong this whole time!

Does anyone know what the name of the bevel tool that’s used around the edges and lines? I’ve heard it’s a checkered bevel but it’s so hard to see in the video and compare to pics online.
It depends on what size it is. Tandy Leather sells different sizes. You could even use a beveler that is smooth with no checkered effect. It's just all a matter of personal preference.

Wow, it's a perfect match. The only differences is the color is wrong. It's actually a dark Plum color .reason why It looked black is because of all the grime and sweat
