BTW thank you for readting to Seventeen! Their my all-time favorite Group and I‘d love for you to watch more of their stuff if you‘d like. They are a 13 member group with 3 units or teams, meaning they have 4 people in the Hip-Hop Team, 4 People in the Performance Team and 5 people in the Vocal Team. This allows them to go in depth with the main focus on these three subjects and also come together as one and uniting everything as a group.
Seventeen are a selfproducing group with their Main Producer Woozi (Vocal Team Leader) and actually more of a SELFMADE group! They came from a broke company produce, write and choreograph by themselves + one member (Seungkwan) basicly promotes them by himself too by going on different typs of variety shows, especially in the earlier days, to get their name out there.

If you listen abit closer they are actually speaking english with mix of Korean, they all can speak decent english especially the two korean-american members #Vernon (mixed asian from NY) and #Joshua (from Cali). The group consists of 9 South Koreans, 2 Chinese and 2 Korean-Americans who debuted under Pledis Ent back in 2015 an independent sub-label of mega company HYBE. *How the group got their name, long story short 13Members + 3Units + 1Team = 17* and there is a leader for each unit hiphop/rapline, vocal and performance. The fandom is named CARATs as in diamond 💎 (17 Carats).
Thanks for reacting and trying out Seventeen. They are amazing and have so many different styles that they do. They go hard, do sentimental, have many upbeat and fresh sounds and their HipHop Unit goes super hard. Their dancing is on point too.

I really love Seventeen and get excited to share the love❤ They debuted in 2015 so they have been together a long time---10+ years because Kpop takes this expression seriously and artists go thru lengthy training--anywhere from 2-6 years. (so different from the US) They write their own music, lyrics, choreography with a little help here and there. You should react to the hypest k-pop group, Ateez! They recently had a comeback with “Crazy form” but I would also recommend checking out “Bouncy” and “Guerrilla”, but “The leaders” or “Arriba” are two songs without Music bideoes, but they’re my favorite songs from them so far.
