@@KevinBigg he has plenty of room to haul frank along to off load it. Seems to make better sense then just putting the smart car on the main deck where frank would sit. 🤪
You need to add a D ring or hook point right behind the front tool box to hook a pulley too in case you ever need to winch the second truck on the trailer you'd be able to run the cable under the first truck. Or just to have less angle in your cable
Keep the wheels and rims the way they are cause when you get the Peterbilt done, you can use the Pete and pull the gooseneck around and speakin of the Peterbilt, whens he next video?
I like the polished wheels... also recommend if you are able when doing very sharp turns raise the drop axle. Will save on your tires. And by sharp turns I mean in like a parking lot or doing a u-turn.
@@duke902 run it up empty... and loaded not every turn but like doing U-turns or extremely sharp turns. Otherwise your gonna be replacing tires quickly. With a spread set up when you turn one axle is gonna be sliding depending on where the weight is on the trailer. when the axles are closer together they pivot together easier. If that makes sense.
Do you're self a big favor and make sure you carry two spares with those size tires.... they really like to go that tire size is kinda a pain to get at times.
7:47 Uhh lemme count those lug nuts again... Yep, 8 lug nuts. Also, I prefer those chrome wheels over anything else. It makes the trailer look clean, like a show truck’s trailer. I love it!
Love the lift axle. I didn’t know the had that option. Well worth the investment on that. I’m just up the road from Diamond C. They’ll definitely be my choice when I get a new trailer.
Add some LED backup lights just in front of the axles pointing a little sideways and also put some under the tail in the very back, might as well put a backup camera on the very back too considering you’ve got almost everything else on this trailer
Greg I wish I could like this video more than once! That trailer is beautiful!!! I’m actually looking into getting a diamond c lpx in the near future but I’m torn between a gooseneck and bumper pull version. I was always a firm believer in PJ trailers but I’ve been reading a lot about their quality control with welds going down. Once I found diamond c and their “engineered beam” I was instantly hooked! You could definitely not ask for a better looking and functioning trailer in my honest opinion. Looking forward to seeing more videos with that thing!!
@@homergarcia376 I get a stiffy over Diamond C's too I just am too broke to afford the trailer I want. When I can get one it's gotta be that super bright Lime green so that it offends everyone and no one can claim they didn't see it if they hit it.
We got a 32' loaded Diamond C with oak deck, 17.5, hydraulic dove and jacks along with the winch and its a beast! We didn't get the air ride due to having little issues with our PJ 40' that has it and it just wasn't worth the hassle. Great trailers and absolutely love the hydraulic jacks!
As a few have said, you need a few D- rings to help with loading second vehicles. Also, as a wrecker driver who has an air system, you should really add air hose fittings so you can air tires or anything else as needed.
Beautiful trailer. One thing I don’t understand, you have a 40k gvwr package yet only 2 16k axles, that’s leaving 8k for the gooseneck which far exceeds the payload of anything under a 5500 series Class 5 series truck.
Yeah but he wont ever be close to the 40k, prolly just wanted it so the trailer will last longer since he won’t be loading it up to Max all the time except the trailer will rip itself apart when empty because it’s so rigid, our chip semi trailers usually end up breaking when empty because of all the added stress because they are so stiff, air ride helps thoigh
Awesome awesome video Greg A, you bought the most bad ass gooseneck trailers on the market for sure. I can’t imagine the amount of things you’ll haul with it. Now you gotta teach Ali to tow with it too so you can share it 😂
The definition of Overkill!!! Love it tho. Add a chain and binder rack under the winch and a box on each side under the top deck. Can never have too much storage options. Congrats on the new trailer.
Man I been looking @ Diamond C. The dove is rated @ 10k & u can rhino line all the metal plate over the the wheels& end of dove. Great buy & great video. The dual use of truck & Pete is 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
You need mud goals on the Ram. Black shows all the dirt. Nice rig and trailer. The knife shaped rear is scary. Its windshield height. Just over the hood. See what I mean!
Love the new Trailer, really love the deck, mine is wood and even with treated stains and water proofing it will only last 8 or 10 years. Love my Trailer, if it was longer it would be better but then I couldn't store it.
Nice trailer . Better park slicks on a flat smooth surface. The material may mark them. I now I have saw them groved from out door type carpet. My not hurt them but would try it. But love the floor for other use.
Really nice trailer... I can see a plumbing job coming up for onboard air for pumping tires up with that air for air suspension....least that's what I'd be doing even to pump up a flat trailer tire or truck tire
Amazing trailer. I have 24 ft I love. That trailer of yours is very nice. More trailer than I could use but I plan on getting some of your options on a 32 ft model. Anxious to follow your reviews. V belt and son loves the 2 he owns. I wonder if yours will have the huck and buck loaded on dove tail he did until adjusting his tie down pattern.
Wow your way to happy about your new trailer , you just could not stop smiling , congrats on you new trailer , I just picked up 20 ft pj trailer which caused me also to smile a lot. 😁😁😁
Needs air ride dump for the main axle. Lower the deck a few more inches, easier tie down and lower your load angle even more! You can add it your height valve might even have provisions for it already.

Mike in the truck with the enclosed trailer and Greg in the pete with the deck over. 5 trucks and the smart car at every event this summer.
