i just love this bass sooo much .. mine is the earlier version but same with contents and specs except the color mine is a sunburst colored one (cort artisan b5 )
I have one these Basses ( as you can see in my profile pic) but mine is the early edition with the black face Head(tuner)Stock and the knobs are positioned differently!! other than that its the same Bass, and you wouldn't believe how much I paid for it.!!
I like the review.. It is a great bass. I think Cort is somehow under rated. How ever.. please.. do something about the video production... the background looks bad.. and the lights and bunch of shadows all over... It hurts the eyes... But I still love you GP...
Good review the question is whether it serves to play rock or metal which bass of the series of cort B5 plus is better the body of swamp ash or mahogany
That's my main bass, and i'm very satisfied, and it's very worth for the price ! I have as a secondary the Cort T74 with different character, more retro tone, overall both are awesome :-) Also i had the C4 model was not very nice .. the B string make boom on strong strikes and very ''pale'' sound ... I had two Ibanez, the GR200 very cheap and bad (buzz noise on sound) perhaps because bad build magnets. Also i had the good series of Ibanez (BTB model) and was good with very comfortable with thin neck for quick and easy playing, but i did't like that tone of ... Nothing COMPARE the Cort basses and the Ibanez basses, are very different at all !!!
This is not an Ibanez copy, the Cort Artisan series a different headstock, MUCH better Hipshot tuners, a Hipshot bridge, a killer Mark Bass preamp, Cort makes a neck through version of this same bass. The Cort Artisan B4 Plus at less than $400, blows away any Ibanez bass same price range. What is shameful is that Ibanez fanboys are whining without realizing what a better value and better made basses the Cort Artisan series are.

It's like an evolution of the Greg Curbow bass.

@@SOUDmuzik Nothing happens at passive mode.
Looks almost exactly like my Ibanez SR605
Aris Theocharis same stuff from the same plant with a different branding!
From what the guy at my local music store, Cort, and Ibanez necks and bodies are made on the same factory.
if it is a copy of SR605 I'd say that it is a good copy. looks more beautiful than SR605 and the Markbass preamp sounds better
Damn. Under 500 bucks!
Wow, the factory that makes Ibanez realeased an Ibanez copy. Shamefull.
