There is something similar in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Their restaurant is pretty good, but the literature they have in the place convinces me they are a cult.
If they would realise we are all human and called for different things and the gift of eternal life is irrevocable. Right now we are learning evil without a time frame from God. There will be 1000 years of God's time where the evil is locked away for all who believe anything jesus said to learn true good. Then the evil is released again. After that is our final judgement. And it's not our place as humans to say anyone who isn't exactly like us is going to the lake of fire. If they understood that it wouldn't be a mentally abusive place but they place conditions and human judgement and fear into it.
Fortunately after intensive investigation by law enforcement it was found out that they did not have any part in setting the fires in Boulder, the accusations against the 12 tribes just ended up being a witch Hunt, but fortunately the law enforcement took it serious enough to make extensive investigation so that all those rumors can now be put to rest

I was a member of "The Way" cult offshoot based in GA. CULTS COMMONALITIES: charismatic leadership, claims to have superior biblical understanding/ interpretations, prefers young recruits, requires significant amounts of members' money & time/ labor, separates members from their loved ones, and more. For me, initiation started with a weekend long "retreat" (sitting in someone's living room with other initiates, listening to 3- 8HOUR tapes of charismatic leader talk about how much he knew, how and what we should believe, victim blaming, finding the devil in everything, everyone else is going to hell, blah blah blah). They own that one too. They have multiple locations and use a few different names.
It's a neat idea but in practice it's a horror show. I lived with them for over a year but in the end I realized it was a cult so I couldn't stay.
Would you be willing to talk about your experiences more?
your a horror show dude
It took that long?

I have found none of this to be true, after visiting a TN location. Kind, giving, hard working people.
You wouldn't wash ur underwear in front of your neighbors, neither would a group like this show you their controversial side.
It would not surprise me..I have met these people and there interpretation of the Bible is pretty sect and cultlike..
