    I couldn’t tell the difference between many of them. Centering looked great. Maybe the grunginess(for lack of a better term) of the card/border was the factor. The vibrance of the color plays a part and it could have been the backs of the cards. Minor scratches on the surface are hard to see as well. Good job tho and fun video! The 9s will all do well. Take care and enjoy the summer!

      glad you enjoyed it. If they are in really mint shape you should consider grading them

      Thanks. I have theory that the centering of the sticker cut may be at least part of the issue. On the PSA 6 Nervous Rex look how high (OC) the sticker itself is

      Know where to buy ungraded series 1 collections or professional graders you trust? I have several series 1. Also like unopened packs.

    8:01 Probably judge the back of the sticker which you didn't show. Printing lines you cannot see with naked eye, marks, corners.

      @@thesandiegoupcycler2586 I see still sell, all good, get some 10 keepers.
      The fronts look great on most of them, do they not give you a breakdown?
      One thing I haven't tried yet is USB microscope because I have one around somewhere. They will use similar where they will examine it. No idea on their magnification size but you will see a lot more going on with microscope. Print lines, defects etc.
      You do have an error of margin with the border as well. Even if one looks off it still could be in margin of error, measure each side or top and see what the difference is. That's how they do it and there should be a percentage somewhere.

    Great bunch of cards. It seems very expensive to get them all graded at between $15-25 a piece. Does that generally pay for itself in terms of increased resale value?

    • @thesandiegoupcycler2586
      @thesandiegoupcycler2586  6 месяцев назад

      It varies from card to card but overall yes it is definitely worth grading them (If they are pack fresh and centered). Raw cards go for $5-$20 and PSA 9s and 10s can go for hundreds, sometimes thousands.

    • @thesandiegoupcycler2586
      @thesandiegoupcycler2586  Год назад

      it's VERY VERY condition dependent, but I'd say a complete set in mid-grade condition is somewhere between $400-$800
