That’s a cool return but you know and we all know. That value is about 10k short of what card you should’ve received. If you wanna know what happened to that card. Just check the manager of that topps department home. They probably don’t even wait a day after that card is expired to take it home

I found a pile of cards that I’ve had they are not in a case. I would say the condition of most seems fair would that effect the value by a lot? I’m not very educated.

How are your sales on the tag grades?

I’d like to see collectors get away from psa and go to tag. It would raise the value of 8s and 9s with the 1000 point scale. Seeing a 9 miss by a point or 2

They don’t destroy the card. I worked at tops for more than 10 years. They give you cards that are also expired redemptions. Sometimes you make out, sometimes you don’t. They don’t put a lot of thought into it, as the process could have been better. Cards did go missing and that resulted in Topps putting all items of high value under 24 hour surveillance now at all their warehouses. The only people stealing are the higher ups and IT and Security personnel

Not true on your "tin" comment..no they aren't wrapped, only the battle Spectra, and Lost Ladies are, the cards are secure in a foam notch..🤷 just sayin..I bought 6 of them, and have tons of perfect cards

Really like your channel and content. Appreciate you running crossover experiments for the rest of us who are interested in graded cards. I really like TAG’s philosophy and approach and hope the standard they are setting is adopted by all the professional graders in the future. With respect to the Jeter, I would keep it in the TAG holder as an 8.5. One reason is I do wonder about risk of damage, even micro damage to cards when repeatedly sending a card to the grading companies. So, I would keep it in the beautiful TAG holder as an 8.5.

i have the entire set, cards, masterpieces, and the foil ones total of 303 cards i believe, all perfect condition been in a binder for decades never taken out, would love to sell them if interested

9’s are really really good in PSA grading. You did well. Double check your Repaired Rex. That has an error card where there is an upside down ghost ‘OF’ in the upper RHC directly above the needle point that apparently bled through from old baseball card stock used for that year: it’s actually known to be Dave Winfield’s all-star card, and the OF represented his position at that time. FYI.

I submitted 30 cards to Tag Grading, 1995 Marvel Metal. Not trusting human eyes that's having a bad day.

I couldn’t tell the difference between many of them. Centering looked great. Maybe the grunginess(for lack of a better term) of the card/border was the factor. The vibrance of the color plays a part and it could have been the backs of the cards. Minor scratches on the surface are hard to see as well. Good job tho and fun video! The 9s will all do well.
